Thanks i got the reptile bulb i used it the first grow about 1 or two hours a day seemed to work well. My last grow i skipped it i may try it again im a new grower so i was thinking keep it simple to get a base line. I broke my pureagro one and never used it its just too strong for my tent iHey frankslan!
The manufacturers of these tubes say they are suitable for the reptiles and the plants in the terrarium and produce good growth. Effective UV-B light up to 20", but recommended for use at 12". I've seen people using reptile bulbs on a 12/12 schedule with no signs of burning. But would not try it with the PureAgro. The new Indagro pontons also use UVB and has two bulbs mounted parallel to the length sides.
There are a few vids on youtube about UVB.
Try Arcadia D3 = 12%Thanks i got the reptile bulb i used it the first grow about 1 or two hours a day seemed to work well. dont have more than 12 inches from canopy to the ceiling
Do you have to betray everything before, Lol?385nm is the spectrum of UV most beneficial to plant terpines.
Arcadia D3 + 12% gives you all you need !!!!HLG will soon be selling their own custom designed florescent, meant specifically to supplement white phosphor lighting. It will have UVA, UVB, and a bit more. No pictures of spectrum yet, I believe they are awaiting delivery of the prototype. I think that Stephen said he hoped it would be for sale in Jan.
I just spied these on EBay

How do they look for efficiency, cost?
Thanks
