ya lipo packs I've seen all kinds of nonsense...swelling fire, when they say do not charge unattended they're not joking.
even the 18650s can fuck up, especially lithium cobalt 18650.

the manganese seem to handle high output relatively stress free but still.......
stop copying and pasting in hopes of sounding intelligent, trailer dweller.

Another inconvenient truth. Hahahahaha :-D

CHRIS WALLACE: “You would agree that even if all 195 nations, now 194, met their targets, it still wouldn’t solve the problem.”

AL GORE: “That is correct. However, it sends a very powerful signal to business and industry and civil society, and countries around the world.”

Sorry, my bad, shouldn't have phrased the question as a bet.
The whole forum knows you won't honor them.
it's funny how you are more pissed off about that than "build the wall and have mexico pay for it" and "lock her up".

he said they were great campaign devices but you guys don't care about that anymore.

you think global warming is a jewish conspiracy. retarded.

Batteries are coming down in price all the time. Lots of competition and investment is going into them. Remember you dont have to have batteries either. you can run on the panel and any extra from the grid. Sell what your not using back to the grid and at the end of the day have a very very inexpensive power bill, future proof your house and add value to your house
Better yet, use the extra power to charge your electric car. Free charging at home beats spending at the pump every day of the week! Huge return on investment, even better than cutting your utility bill.

So your answer is, 'don't bother'?

I'm on the can and my turds stink less than your logic.

Fantastic..that means if everyone met their target we can then get a lower target.

Solving the problem is not a quick and easy thing. We also need industry. The whole idea of obtainable targets is that if we try we can meet them. If we can meet them then we can then do better next round.
Its the same as setting life goals. You have to set achievable goals not lose interest because its to hard by setting impossible ones.

We may meet these targets and the next..and the next and hopefully we can at least slow the problem down whilst science comes up with a fix..or we adapt..its that or die..

Sadly it will all be to late for The Great Barrier Reef. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/apr/10/great-barrier-reef-terminal-stage-australia-scientists-despair-latest-coral-bleaching-data

Show me the money. If it's economically beneficial for me to use a rooftop solar array, I will. I've been chasing this rabbit awhile now. We'll see if it will work for me.

The good news is that the harder we work at sustainable technologies, the better we get at them.

Right now, today, solar and wind power are both cheaper than newly installed coal or natural gas fired power plants.

Computers, monitors, televisions and the internet use far less power than they did ten years ago, all while performing orders of magnitude better than ever.

Electric powered transportation is no longer a curiosity but a desirable consumer good, soon to be ubiquitous.

We can do this. It won't happen overnight but the seeds have been sown and green shoots are everywhere.

You want to maximize the return on solar panels, buy an electric car and power it with them.

Electric car won't do it for me. Won't do it for most up here. Alaskan Cadillac is a euphemism for a pick up truck. Near everyone needs one and drives one.
