It's a Bernie thread and you wondering why I'm talking about Bernie low information voters ???
Let me guess you are for Bernie
Support for Bernie doesn't necessarily mean Bernie or Bust. Bernie was only marginally better policy-wise than Clinton to me, but the perception and stigma associated with Clinton is what I (barely) worried about. I was shocked but not completely shocked when Trump won for that reason.

neither do 80% of coloradans.
No, 80% of Coloradans don't support funding a universal healthcare system through raising payroll taxes for employers and employees. Ask them if they support funding it using a progressive system of taxation, like how Sanders proposed to the citizens at the WV town hall. All Trump voters and they supported it.

Edit: And I bet you do too

Maybe they got voted out on their ass so much under Obama and the DNCs leadership because they did a shitty job at representing the middle-class. Maybe people actually wanted single payer and establishment Democrats couldn't deliver, even with a supermajority in congress..
maybe you just don't want to answer.

it was 72 days.

do you honestly think that's enough time to send a proposal like single payer through committees and the CBO and both houses, as well as giving the american people enough time to read, evaluate, and debate the bill, especially considering that no one campaigned on or was elected on that promise?

bernard endorsed, campaigned, and fundraised for our massively failed bill.

It was long enough to send Romneycare through committees and the CBO and both houses, as well as give the American people enough time to read, evaluate and debate it, but it wasn't long enough for single-payer?

Because establishment Democrats don't support universal healthcare
Mmmmhummm. You do realize that Democratic Party Senators face a primary ahead of the main election, don't you? If this is such a hot button issue, why do conservative Democrats who don't support universal healthcare keep winning their primary? Progressives have tried to unseat them and failed. Like it or not, conservative Democrats who don't tow a progressive (left wing) line got elected into the Senate. The alternative is a Republican.

Maybe some day the Green Party will field viable candidates. Is that your hope?

You do realize that the Muppet OP of this thread believes just that... Bernie or Bust

Because their corporate interests ensure they do

We're going to change that
Wow, a whole lot of unjustified confidence and beliefs based upon factually incorrect assumptions there.

Simpler answer is that the voters in the state that selected a conservative democrat are conservative.

Are all progressive politicians opposed by corporate interests? If this is such a powerful force then how come progressive politicians have seats in congress?
