I think public action will work if it is used to threaten Reps with a primary battle. Even safe districts commonly have 30% Dems. What if the Dems don't bother running a Dem and instead devote their energies to a liberal running as a Republican in the primary who can then batter the Rep with the votes he gave Donald over stuff like repealing the ACA?

I might be a bit jaded and cynical but I think we've actually gone beyond the point where public opinion matters.

In this I hope to be proven wrong but I doubt I will be :(

If this were Rand Paul or any other, I would accept then grin and bear it..Trump is insane..he's that uncle who was in 'Nam comes over every Christmas and ruins the holiday by getting drunk, saying his racist shit and fist fighting.

Written by about 30 former Democratic congressional aides and posted on Google Docs in December, it provides step-by-step advice, based largely on Tea Party tactics, on how to get members of Congress to listen.

Anyone joined the movement or been using the tactics? It says in the article I read that people are Doing this, just no mention if it's working or not. So happy people are fighting against that scum and tyranny.

The right has god to align them and direct them to vote and who for. Pat Robertson and Trump understand this as do most of the other repubs. So 40% are organized already. If you had a savior that all would follow. But I doubt that will happen. It's going to have to get really ugly for people to change. After armagedon you get everything new. How could you fight that? Madrasa style teachings. A lot of older people I know are like this. I talk to a lot of people my age. Old. They will tell me stuff that I dare not tell them they are nuts. I would be ostracized in the community. It's amazing. They are ready to put on the whole armor of god.

That's because they are small people, living small lives..mine all mine and mean spiritedness is what makes them happy.

Little do they know, the comfort they take in their beloved treasures, their family throws right into the garbage the day after they're gone.

Sadly I fear this to be true. My state is so corrupt that it's almost impossible the dems to gain power. The districts look like Hieroglyphics, they are so oddly shaped.

Let's be honest. Anybody but the Repubs will have to get OVER 4 million MORE votes to win in the next national election.
I don't believe we can vote our way out of this mess, because the electoral college is fucked.
Either Hail king trump or prepare for civil unrest/war.
That is my plan.

dump Clinton as party leader..as long as she is perceived as leader, the Millenials will protest against the system by staying home, they have no qualms in doing so..they..have..no..qualms..black constituency hasn't bought 'hot sauce in my purse' lie..don't believe me?..see Trump victory.
