looks like it, i hadn't heard of it until just now! waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper though. can you culture mammoth p into new bottles of mammoth p like when using EM1?@iHearAll
i've used that EM1 in the past too just in my tomato garden as a soil additive. seemed like the plants liked it.
isn't it basically the same thing as Mammoth P except way cheaper?
It works really good, it also makes your plant more drought resistant.good idea! never had i considered powdering dried cactus or yucca taproot for rehydrating
I don't think so, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure they're not the same. I was gonna say they're very different, but how can I? They're microbes at the end of the day and we still don't know enough about them. BUT, they're not the same.@iHearAll

not sure about reculturing. i dont' know much about the mammoth p other than "soil innoculant" which is EM1looks like it, i hadn't heard of it until just now! waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper though. can you culture mammoth p into new bottles of mammoth p like when using EM1?
I've seen a couple of impartial side by side grows and the results were impressive, if it was available here, I'd be giving it a go. I think you can apply for free samples in the US, not certain about that, but think I've read of it recentlynot sure about reculturing. i dont' know much about the mammoth p other than "soil innoculant" which is EM1
last time i was in my local hydro shop, owner said this mammoth p was the only thing in the store that he couldn't live without. i'm thinking, oh shit, here comes the sales pitch. said it was $75 a liter. i busted out laughing. said the only thing i spend that much on for a liter better be a 20 year old scotch.
i run a sterile hydro set up so would be a waste for me. i thought i read somewhere that they used to offer freebies but stopped.I've seen a couple of impartial side by side grows and the results were impressive, if it was available here, I'd be giving it a go. Does it kill the weeds by it self? Whats in it?i use this for spraying noxious weeds in my yard. it made a huge difference vs just using herbicides alone.

i was wondering if i could use this when i foliar feed? or add to neem oil for PM issues?
nope, just a surfactant. wetting agent basically. i'm not sure it's organic. i'll have to look at my bottle. i'll post in a few what's in it.Does it kill the weeds by it self? Whats in it?
every once in a while i'll get clones. they get heavily neemed via foliar and quarantined to kill any mites. had a mite infestation once. not good. especially late in flowerIf you are in sterile conditions why use neem?
80% alkyl aryl polyoxyethylene glycol and other ethoxylated derivatives.i'll post in a few what's in it.
too man made and i might be allergic80% alkyl aryl polyoxyethylene glycol and other ethoxylated derivatives.
"a non ionic surfactant for increased coverage and penetration of pesticide sprays"
"reduces surface tension of spray droplets"
can't imagine it would harm plants by itself. it does say also useful for nutritionals, so not just herbicides.
pussy juice, of course. gotta have a good sourceMy wife, after several minutes of fingering?
Seriously, I need to wring out the sheets afterwards.
and def not organic. like i said, it worked wonders on canadian thistle that infested our property along with the herbicide.too man made and i might be allergic

Proly gonna try some of this. Can you spray near harvest? I couldn't find the activation instructions but i will look again and i don't have the product yet. It's $30 a quart on Amazon i guess thats resonable if it expands 24 times and you only need a couple spoons of that. ThanksEM1 from teraganix. I turn a half liter of EM1 into a few dozen liters of activated EM by fermentation. (activation process is at teraganix.com) I then use 2tsp of activated EM or as i call it, EMe, in 1 liter of nonchlorinated water with 2 tsp agricultural grade molasses. This gets sprayed foliar for PM treatment and prevention. I also apply EMe to my compost teas and make fermented plant extracts with it. All around useful product. People on RIU swear by unconventional farmer's "lactoserum" for cost effectiveness but it's all dirt cheap so i go with the EM1 activation for simplicity and culture vigor.
I do the same thing with LAB, works a charm, I add in about an inch of fresh aloe meat/juice into thatProly gonna try some of this. Can you spray near harvest? 2T em1 + 2T agricultural molasses + 1L water. mix. bottle in 1 liter plastic bottle, seal cap tighly. ferment for one week. burp cap once a few days in while fermenting. application rates are 1:100 by volume and include equal volume molasses to feed microbes until application. it can be used until harvest day and i have done this. i did skip molasses on that last day spraying thoughProly gonna try some of this.
