I am defending the right of people who ARE capable of consenting, to chose their own path, even when I don't like what they are doing. You, on the other hand have adopted a policy of using force to intervene in others lives, who aren't intervening in yours, which is a prohibitionist policy.

If two people can and do consent to something and their actions don't involve you, where do you get the right to threaten them ? (that's a generic question BTW )

You seem unable to grasp the idea that other people who are capable of consenting, aren't your property. Why do you think enslaving others is a good thing?

I view legality and illegality as often being inconsistent with right and wrong, so the form of your question to me is flawed and out of context with my beliefs. It's certainly wrong in my beliefs for you to engage in sex with kids, I'm not saying you do. It's just pretty evident that you like to talk about it.



Do you think it is wrong for a 10 year old who is capable of consenting to a bet to renege on the bet if he/she loses the bet?

I do think 10 is too young to consent. I was using the example to see your mindset.
what age for you is too young to consent ? Can we agree someone who is 10 is too young to consent.

For me? I already told you, if I weren't already in a fine relationship, probably 40 something would be the youngest I'd be interested in.
