Make Liberalism Great Again

How's it accepting bigotry and racism when I'm the one who want's to have an open and free discussion about it and you're the one who want's to just shut everybody up and get them fired from their job for sharing a different opinion?

People see your way and rightly feel like you're trying to force them to accept it. People see my way and are forced to defend their position with logic and reason, and if you know anything about bigotry or racism, you know neither are logical or reasonable positions to hold.

This is how you actually change people's minds. You show them where they're wrong in a non confrontational, educational way. You won't win over everyone, but it sure as hell is a much more successful tactic to promote change than the shit you and Buck do to people who hold different opinions.
who did I get fired. I think you are confusing me with someone else.
I'm also failing to see you point. I would like to, even if I still disagree with it but I'm just not understanding it.
Why would I as a black man keep my mouth shut when dealing with racism ? I have to deal with this shit my whole life. Stupid racist jokes, being a suspect at every turn, having to defend who I am for just being who I am. WTF.
Now I have people like you telling me to keep silent and just deal with it, because people are getting tired of hearing about racism. again WTF.
Please paddy do tell me what you do when you face racism ? Oh I'm sorry you have no clue what I'm talking about. Walk my shoes then get back at me.

If you want sit down and talk to racist and bigots and try to change their minds, more power to you, good luck. That's not how Trump did it:-)
How will you solve anything if you don't have a free and open marketplace for ideas?

You are the one that doesn't want to talk about racism. I'm the one that encourages open and honest discussion.

second time you have got it wrong today.
First tell me who and when I got someone fired.
Second show me when I was not willing to talk about racism ? Now if someone starts talking stupid shit, I will handle it accordingly.
You are the one saying you tired of hearing about racism and bigotry. I bet you would not feel that way if the shit was happening to you. .

Lol, Trumps policies in detail:
•Build a great wall, a tremendous wall.
•Repeal Obamacare
•Lock up Hillary

Hillary had an entire website and detailed, specific plans for her policies and Trump wouldn't even let her talk.

You're a fucking moron if you think it was because a tiny minority of Democrats are fucking pussies.
Is this the Democrats who let Hillary shove a knife in Bernie's back? You could have had Bernie but you F'ed up Mel.

I didn't say you got someone fired, I said those are the kinds of tactics you and Buck employ. He's openly gloated about getting people fired for sharing a racist or sexist opinion on social media.

When you're not willing to talk about racism? Always, because you immediately start out accusing everyone you disagree with of being a racist. @Flaming Pie @NLXSK1 , who do you feel is more open to having a discussion about racism, london and UB or me? Why?

I'm saying everyone is tired of hearing about this fringe nonsense from the far left. I'm not saying racism and sexism aren't important issues that should be addressed. That's what you're saying I'm saying. The economy, jobs, health care and education are what's important to working class voters, the Democratic Party hasn't done enough to address the crux of those issues, so of course the guy's message who says he will is going to appeal to them.

Remind me to ask how that is working out in a couple of years.

That is a dangerous game. There were many members of the Weimar coalition that felt similar to you.
Nothing else worked, including working within the system. That was the message that got sent to millions of democrats and it's the kind of message that despots thrive on.

You wanna keep fascists out of the White House? RESPECT THE ELECTORATE.

WE can talk about it, but politicians shouldn't run a campaign on it. Like it or not, people in general don't place others suffering above their own perceived suffering.

As an example, look no further than the African American community. A group that has been persecuted like they have, you would imagine that they would relate to the persecution of other minority groups, right? Wrong. They don't give a fuck. *70 percent* of African Americans voted in favor of prop 8 in California, banning gay marriage.

So, while I agree that liberals should care about minority groups and welcome them in to the fold, the idea that progressive political candidates should make these issues central to their campaign is a losing strategy.
Don't you think it's odd that there was a rise in hate crimes against Muslims last year? Why do you think that happened? Also, hate crimes against Hispanics took off.

At the same time that was happening, one of our presidential candidates was pandering to white racist sentiment in angry speeches that cast other US citizens and legal immigrants as terrorists and rapists. Don't you think there is a relationship?

There is a conservative religious streak in the African American religious community. This just means that narrow mindedness is an equal opportunity weakness.

And what about this discussion of a Muslim registry? Would it be too PC of me to think that this is an outrageous action to take or even discuss seriously at top levels of our government?

When you make comments like "100% of the people that voted for Trump are racists". That's a good example of shutting down a conversation and alienating swing voters who might otherwise be compelled to vote for the Dem candidate.
Lets put it this way, not all Trump supporters are racist, but all racists are Trump supporters.

And its turning out thousands of Trump's supporters in some places don't even exist...

you are confused. Let me know when you get it together.
If I accused someone for making a racist or bigoted statement, then they did.
I will always call someone out for making an ignorant comment.
Try asking @NLXSK1 why he feels I only hire brown people. Does he think only brown people work in a laundromat or cleaners? Also ask him how he feels about UNCF.
Ask Pie her bigoted views on Muslims.
I suggest you get your information together before you attempt to come at me. I pick @UncleBuck to fight the fight against racism and bigotry over you any day of the week.

I would agree with that. There are not enough of those people to win a general election though. It's the disaffected Obama voters that were at play. They were more concerned with economic issues than social issues.

any fuck face who can vote for a person who makes comments in the nature that Trump did might as well be racist/bigot.

Like hanging out with a person who keeps talking about raping someone and claiming you are against rape...GTFO

A lot of people looked at him as the lesser of two evils. They weren't proud of voting for Trump, but they held their nose and did it anyway. Clinton was so unappealing to them that they voted for a shit bag like Trump.

Run a better candidate and that wouldn't happen.

Can't talk about income and wealth inequality though! Keep your hands off of my stack!
