I wouldn't say we ever " turned" against Hillary...we never had her back, she is everything I hate about politicians and the status quo policy personified... Look @ me, you or Schuyylar or padawanbater..we are 4 typical Americans who are level headed n only want the best for our country n the best for future generations... No greed, no gluttony.

None of us ever had that dirty bitches back, she was forced fed to us and rejected quickly . Bernie was such the obvious choice it makes me think this country is destined to fail.
We aren't destined to fall, but those who run the show are willing to let us fall to get their way.

I voted for Burnie in the primary... I just wasn't about to let trump walk into the white house so I voted for clinton.....but nobody had my backo_O

Maybe this forces the DNC to clean up its act, Obama called her " Bush-Cheyney lite" 8 years ago..its an accurate description, we don't need a fake dem like her nor want her.. It was an awful move.

Hey SKY, Thats not one of my favorite things that he has said either. Trump certainly showed how hard he can work in the last 500 days. Fuck, it was like a crab opener for months. When he gets in the white house he may not take any vacations or weekends off for the whole four years. imo Thats a lot of energy!
Illegal drugs are miraculous, Nitro.

And yet he still walked right on in..no amount of shukin' and jivin' making people think Hillary was doing well would've changed those from staying home because it was they who created it.

A friend showed me this UK reporter/comedian's rant, and though I don't agree with all his points I believe he's spot on in some areas.

The take-away I got was we need to be more respectful of each other and actually discuss the issues versus name calling (from all sides of the isle) and focus on the problem (Washington) and our common needs/goals as a country.
I agree, but the right needs to start being more respectful. There is a reason the left called them deplorable.

The take away I get from all this is that we really need to focus on improving education and stop the yellow press. Oh and get rid of Citizens United.

Well, If you and your buddies could give up on all the racist and penis crap I think our society would be better off than the one you are living in. Until I came to RIU I didn't even know your society existed. You seem to only care about people that think and talk like you. And thats the society thats breaking and burning other peoples shit right now. You should try to influence your gullible flock to have a little more respect. Respect gets respect, just so you know.
"Respect gets respect... your gullible flock... your society existed."

Try again old man.

You know I'm going to give this some thought. Awful price to pay if we don't come out better after this. Still afraid of how Trump may fuck shit up.

edit: and still feel you should have voted Hillary, but what done is done. FORWARD

Trump Optimism Propels Dow to Best Week in Five Years
If only what CNBC and Faus Noose were telling was true. Darn it.

There were 3 "surges" in the past five years over a one week period that did much better than a 5% gain. I recommend you looking that up before copy-and-paste stuff that isn't accurate.

What is absolutely Hillary-ous about that is what the definition of being "conservative" means. You'd think if Hillary were like Bush-Cheney, that they'd vote for her, because they don't like change. I mean that's the point of conservatism, not liking change.

The Republican party is no longer conservative. Period. They are Evangelical, they are Capitalists, they are Opportunists and really don't give a damn about anyone but themselves. That is not conservatism, that is narcissism. President Trump, Narcissist in Chief.

Yep, agreed.
Both sides need to remove the focus on demonetization and work vigorously on unification. The longer the govt keeps us focused on "Right versus Left" the more control they have through diversion and fabricated issues.
And the press needs some serious ramifications for news manipulation/false reporting.

Make no mistake, IMHO this past election was a travesty where the clear loser is our country.

Not to be douche, but I'm not sure you meant to say "demonetization". lol

But yes, I agree. We as a country need to start compromising on issues. And to start, we need to repeal Citizen's United and get of religion as part of politics, it has no place.
