Everything you need to know courtesy of @alesh http://rollitup.org/t/math-behind.868988/

You are limited to the SPDs Bridgelux has made available in their datasheets. I've already done the 3000K 80CRI curve and came up with LER 332 and QER 4.68. Using that and the 4000K data you could come up with a pretty close estimate for 3500 80CRI. They haven't released any 90CRI SPDs. Whether Bridgelux has that info available but not publicly released I don't know.

I'll see if @robincnn can treat the Vero29 gen 7 90 cri with the lighting passport. We can at least get a good guesstimate of the SPD that way.

No other products use better parts. All top bin Cree my man. You should do your research before you run your cock sucker.
I'll say it again in case you didn't hear me.

Top bin Cree isn't the best anymore :( sorry.........
Do they use 3590s ????? I think people could do research on the products if they could (no website) or any other info without contacting a random end user on a weed forum?
Honestly he could have a simple website built for 500 bucks.....

Awesome stuff guys thanks. I started to digitize the chart from the specsheet. They could have used coloured lines instead of dots and dashes at least jeez.

i have been searching for a small cob to cover a 2ftx4ft area,,,maybe a 200 watt shouls do that? why do most good cob led's run the cxb3070's insted of the 3590's? i was told the 3590's are more efficient.. anyways could u recomend a cob led that will cover this small area well??
ive switched from hps to ceramics a few years ago,,anyways if a 315watt ceramic is equivilant to 5oowatts hps is a 200 watt led comparison to 315 watts ceremic(cmh, cdl, lec, whatever u want to call them)????

Are you going to do the 4000K curve? If so, would like to see the results :)

Well, I can rest assure that whatever is the best, Victor will use it in his lights. Just like he's been doing everytime there's an upgrade to be had.

What happened with remote phosphor? Transcend lighting is the only one I know of. Maybe it's to expensive to produce.

I asked Brian (TL) about that several times. He never answered. I also repeatedly asked if he wanted the TL200 back, he never responds, although he has responded to many of my other emails. The light worked quite well in my tent, BUT, it was not designed for tents (it is a heavy mofo). it was designed as supplemental lighting in greenhouses, and even then way over built

I've been hopeful that 90 CRI would be a contender, but am starting to get some results worth considering and it doesn't look good for 90CRI. It may provide more a better photosynthetic response but there's also a lot of stretch going on, with both 3000 and 2700. A couple weeks after flip the inter-node distance is about double the 80 and 70 CRI samples.

What intensity levels? Just curious.
