Most Efficient LED Light

7' footprint is crazy talk. are those the special class of lenses that robin was talking about throw light uniformly in all directions

I'm not 100% sure but I've been doing literally 100s of computer simulations to get US to this stage. These new optics will provide some of the most even coverage possible in a multiple light scenario.

These lenses throw a rectangular pattern. They really help with the center hot spot. At 24" center it's ~ 850 ppf. 1 ft from center its still 850 ppf..... 18" is still over 750 ppf this is twords the isle and a 2' from center its around 600. This pattern is uniform down the entire isle with these set at 4.5' centers.

These lens are referred to as symmetrical.

Yep 3000k 90 cri. Should have sphere data along with light distribution in less than 2 weeks.

Rectangular light Patten for good overlap down the canopy while avoiding excess spillage into the isles. About a 4.5 x 7 footprint @24"
Are these Khatod PL1845SR?

is that per lens or per fixture?

nobody wants to light up the aisles

No they are AR coated glass from China.

Each lens has a rectangular pattern. Looking at the photo the lens put out more light away from the center of the fixture . These aren't ideal in stand alone configuration. In this instance the overlap in the center is just enough as to have the same intensity as 1 ft from center all around actually there center measurement is slightly lower than 6" from center lol.

Piping the 3x3 tent up this coming week got to decide what light I want. Think cob led. Can you give insight on this @CobKits

Concerns electric bill per month best light for the size. cooling
I have a 315 lec cmh in a 3x4 closet that's kicking. Want a light compared to or better.
Thanks

Is it possible to use a 1000 watt in 3x3 tent using reduced power? Reason is I will be expanding my grow and want to not have to purchase anther light when this happens

I have been having a real think about cob in the past few months. What is best completely depends on the situation the grower is in, with regards to growing styles and coverage.

I'm currently growing 12 Brothers Grimm C99's and 12 Brothers Grimm Gimmidica regs. So currently more smaller panels would be better for me. However, I'm going to be growing just 2 plants when I have the best mother plants. That means I'm going to buy bigger panels. I've found a decent led I want that draws 459.

Expensive but least it's made properly and doesn't look like someones bolted some cobs on the chassis of a shopping cart lmao

I'm going to buy 2 of these...

Currently I use cmh, which I think is excellent too.

To much for 450w of light...

I disagree.. Some have spent loads on cob self builds that ain't really all that. In case you haven't noticed, growers pay a high premium for hydroponics gear, lights which is based on the money we make lol Like this black bucket 99 pence. Hydroponics bucket 25 pounds lmao

That light costs 4 ounces dude! 112 grams of weed, which is what? 1/4 of the yield you'd get back in the 1st plant!

I always invest in myself with growing and I always get shit loads more buds and money back. Think what you like, I do disagree with you big time (:

Surely if the op is running a legitimate business, he/she would be able to off set the cost of lights against tax anyway. Not that we can in the UK with growing weed being illegal.

In the UK, if a business makes a purchase for the business, you can claim the cost back through the tax office. Drastically lowering your carbon footprint is a great reason to do this!

Don't know how that works over the other side of the pond... But that's how it works over here! Surely your businesses over there have some kind of tax relief...?
