brown algae(I think) in aeroflo

Hopefully someone can tell me how bad this is and how to get rid of it. I've only had my aeroflo 60 running for two weeks. I've only had two little plants in it to make sure everything is working fine.
Towards the end of the first week I noticed what looks like a brown algae in the grow chambers. It got progressively worse as the days went by. I ended up flushing the system a week ago and tried to get as much of the slimy stuff cleaned out as possible.
I thought it was from warm water.i ended up making a water chiller out of a dehumidifier. I filled the res back up and the water chiller worked great. The water temp has stayed between 62-65 f since then. It didn't seem to help though. In only s couple days, the algae was back in full force. I've been running h202 in it the last few days, but it doesn't seem to help.
after doing some research I see that light can be what causes this. no light gets into my reservoir but all the chambers have been uncovered with light getting in. I bought the system used and it didn't come with the caps. I ordered some and they're on the way but what do I do now?
is there a way to clean this out without harming the plants. I just put 18 seedlings in it 2 days ago. there doing good but I'm concerned. here's a picture of what it looks like. it's kind of hard to see down in there but it's the best I can do.

You need to stop all the light entering your system. H2O2 is nothing more than water with an extra oxygen molecule..
this actually helps promote algae growth. You need to clean everything with a chlorine solution to kill algae!! There is a recipe for using pool shock in your nute solution.1gram into 1gallon water.. 1oz into 5 gallons of nute solution.. no more algae!! Good luck

Thanks for the info. I'll pick some pool shock up tonight and give it a try.

Many of us use hydroton in netcups to fill the holes that we aren't using. It can be bleached/reused and is perfect for covering unused aero cup holes. It's simple to use simply fill a netcup full of hydroton and place it in the gaping hole.

I would have rigged something up sooner but I didn't think it was such a big deal. Lesson learned.
I'll fill some net cups with hydroton tonight. I have couple 5 gallon buckets full of the stuff and tons of net cups

I can't believe I didn't think of Filling the net cups up sonner. I was a
The kneeling pad would be the best thing to do though.
I might do that for a more long term solution. I'd probably have a hard time finding the pad this time of year. All the stores are clearing out there summer inventory
