Simple is your mind.

Your whole persona is meant to cause discord.
is anything i said untrue?

aren't you supporting the same candidate as the KKK and trying to excuse, apologize for, or defend the racist statements made by other members on this site?

What about that is racist? Have you stopped taking your meds?
no, that's not necessarily racist, even though the event is put on by a bunch of racists.

but it is funny as hell that a group of grown fellas can't scrape together $800 to keep their shitty little event going. that was the main takeaway in case your reading comprehension failed you.

So we should let them stay racist and raise racist children?

The meme was complaining that we don't stop people from being racist.

I am asking a question that I already know the answer to.

Q: How do you change a racist?
A: You change their heart.
Listen, I get what you're saying. I really do. For a large portion of my life I did just that. I grew up in an area that was predominately white, and I have white friends to this day that I consider family. But I also had friends growing up that I was not allowed in their house, and they couldn't come to mine. I've been followed simply because I drive a particular car. I've had my qualifications questioned at different places of employment. I couldn't prove it, but I'd be willing to bet that I've been denied employment because I'm black. I could on but I think you get the point. Try walking around carrying this literally every day of your life. I am at a point to where I'm gainfully employed and very secure in my employment, so I've decided that I don't have to play that game anymore. If you don't like me because of my race, as long as it doesn't affect my bottom line, I have no desire to try and change your mind. I spent a lifetime trying that, and nothing seems to change.

So, you don't hate all white people, and you don't meet a white person and immediately conclude they are racist and despicable? You wait for each individual person to show his character, then decide? You don't stereotype people based on the color of their skin?

Me too.

That's about all you can ask for.

yeah if more people had that view, desert dude, maybe there would be less racism and hatred and pain , but there is still the issue of social inequality as far as some people have so much money and others have so little. or virtually nothing at all. Its a very cold and unforgiving world and the economics is very uneven.

I don't "hate" anyone. Hate is a child's emotion. I will literally get along with everyone that is willing to get along with me. I'm just not willing to play the game of trying to get you to like me. I just don't care enough anymore.

I don't disagree with you about the bolded part. I come from abject poverty. I am now middle class. I did it by keeping my nose to the grind stone, went to college and got a salable skill. I don't see how else it can be done.

Yeah, I agree with you. Cop culture is the problem. How do you change it, though?
It is so ingrained into the fiber of being a police officer, that I'm not sure that It can be changed. Police departments are rotten literally to the core. From the very top all the way down. Even the police chiefs are full of shit because there is no way that they could ascend to that position without "playing the game". And usually the few that are willing to speak out about it are literally putting themselves and their families at a significant risk. I'm honestly not convinced that it can be changed.

I share your cynicism about the cops. Citizen surveillance, cell phone cameras, might be the turning point.

But it has changed. Even you called all those Black Lives Matter people running ,..."like little bitches" and "Cowards". So there`s hope. It was really, really bad in the 50`s 60`s 20`s 30`s. Not even comparable to today.

I really wish that I could believe that. A "good" cop isn't a good cop if he allows the "bad" cops to be bad cops.

Kinda like a good Black man really isn`t because he ignores Black on Black murder in favor of cop on black murder. Doesn`t mention the worst in favor of promoting his agenda. You`re a baiter.

You're wrong, it's actually very comparable to the past. The difference is only in the fact that racists have gotten smarter.
