I can stake them in the ground, the soil here sucks and I wanna control everything about themIf you live in a windy area. It is best to put them directly in the ground.
I would like to be able to take them in the garage at night if it's supposed to storm and to keep the morning few off them it gets really wet and cold around my area for about a month before harvest every year, and I wanna try to control mold as much as humanly possible.you could dig a 30 gallon hole and put a small tarp down with some drainage holes in the bottom. Then whatever soil you use on top of the tarp.
or even better yet; you could dig a hole and put the pot in the hole.
But stakes work as well
Transplanting from a 15 gallon without breaking the root system?????I can always transplant right into the ground if they out grow these. How big do you guys figure they will get strains are sour diesel and crown royale
wait until a week or two, until it establishes roots around the bottom and sides of the pot.Transplanting from a 15 gallon without breaking the root system?????
I meant...even with established roots... 15 gallons when transplanted is too much of a risk of breaking them. Its too heavy and big.wait until a week or two, until it establishes roots around the bottom and sides of the pot.
Didnt say it cant be done...just taking to big of a risk
Someone figured it out that there 30 gallons so it's more then enough room. I agree transplanting them would be a 3 or 4 person job lolTransplanting from a 15 gallon without breaking the root system?????
