Thank you @BuddyColas . This should be a more healthy and even canopy run. I also may have 660nm for wake up and maybe flower boost and 365nm for terpines, flavenoids and color... :)

I'm also interested in improving the final flavour with cxb3590 3500k for lightning as a starting base. How many watts of cobs are you running in relation to 660nm and 365nm? When do you run these and for how long. Sorry for all the questions.

I am running a total of 105 watts split three ways equally between 730nm, 660nm and 365nm. I will use the 730nm for nights out as I have been. The 660nm for a 15 minute wake up before lights on and will experiment with time on during flower because I have read that it will add to the stretch. I'm planning on having the 365nm run 10 to 12 hours a day as long as there is no negative affect.

I'm running running 400 watts of Cree CXB 3590 in a meter squared... :)

I'm running running 400 watts of Cree CXB 3590 in a meter squared. I may turn my HLG 185 1400's into veg drivers and switch my flowering tent and add an extra CXB for 9 cobs and 465 flowering watts with 3 HLG 120 1050's or their equivalent... :)

Thanks for the answer, I just need to build a 4 cob light first. Havn't used led yet. First run will be a steep learning curve, so I'm going to keep it simple to start. After that I'm going to try then try these combinations out for sure.

Well just trimmed up the last of the hashberry only taking the prime bud material from them and ended up with 3.25 zips. That added into the 13.75 zips from the Kush berry gives me a total of 17 zips from just a little over 400 watts. This is with unknown pheno's and an uneven canopy. This round I'm hitting the cal/mag harder earlier and they are seeming to be healthier and happier so far... :)

IMAG1067.jpg Stated 12/12 last night on the second run. Everyone is crazy over the hashberry, more then expected and the Kush berry is well loved also. This run is receiving more what they want then last ( less N more cal/mag ) and the aeration mix with the basalt dust has these girls growing faster as well. I should have a more even canopy then last time but we will see. Last run was far more productive then expected. So on with the show.... :)

Seven days in week one of 12/12 complete and these girls are way happy and growing fast. I played with a couple minutes of 730nm during lights on and it stretches the hashberry nicely. Still waiting on a couple small odds and ends parts to finish up the 660nm and 365nm pontoons. The canopy is far more even this round and and these girls are receiving the full 940 PPFD... :)IMAG1073.jpg

I totally missed this. My apologies. One of my Dr. Who's ended up being a fella, so I took it to a friends place and he collected pollen for me. I pollinated some buds this morning to make some extra Dr. Who seeds and a couple new strains. I also had an accident with the female, pushing her a little too hard with LST during veg, so she hasn't lived up to her full potential. That being said, the buds are developing nicely and it's one hell of a sticky and stinky plant. A little harder to grow than something like GG#4 which basically grows no matter what you do to it It's a little more sensitive to neem and heavy feeding so be gentle with her. I will start a journal in the next couple of days.

Thanks for that update and information. My micro-climate zone is not very friendly come fall (wet and windy), and Dr Who was one of three seed strains I have. I ended out choosing to go with LSD for the outdoor because its supposed to be bug and (primarily) fungi resistant, which is important in the NW. I will probably run the Dr. Who in my next winter indoor run. I am definitely still interested in how it does for you, so I'll keep an eye out for your journal.
 
14 days in, two weeks down. I have added 35 watts of 660nm, 12 stars and a Mean Well LPC 35 700. That being said I think the 660nm are really spurring the buds on but a bit too intense for the fan leaves about second and third from the top. Also it seams s rouge gang of springtails has decided to make my grow home. Girls are still trucking and looking healthy and lights have been changed to 13.5/10.5 with 660nm and 730nm adjusted accordingly. Still waiting on wire for the 365nm build but they should be in the tent by week 3. I'm going to also hit a couple of the bottom buds on the two hashberry going this run wit some sour bubble pollen. This hashberry pheno is an incredibly smooth and tasty smoke with tons of vigor. The sour bubble should add some kick and funk while dominating the cross so a bx to the hashberry may be in order.

21 days in, 3 weeks down and these girls are blowing up. First week of 13.5/10.5 complete. The 365nm rails are still in the process of being built. I feed them the HR Size + for the first time tonight. I really like the way this run is stacking and building bud sites. I think the leaf problem from last post was not light damage but a one to two night calcium deficiency. I changed water sources for two 5 gallon jugs and the different source didn't seem to have the same leave of cal these girls demand. Even the RO here can have a decent level of call and pure tap will kill a plant. IMAG1098.jpg IMAG1100.jpg IMAG1099.jpg Now on with the show...
 
You using far red then? You're doing 13.5 of lights ON & 10.5 of lights OFF? How much far red and for how long are you using if so?

Im also curious. Im at 13.5 / 10.5 with 11mins of 730 @ lights out.im not sure ive seen any real change except more stretch. Plant is growing great.

I've been told to shorten total flower time to stay at 12/12. Mine comes on for 5 mins before lights off and 10 after.
 
Yes, I have the 730nm going from 2 minutes before lights out till 10 minutes after the cobs are out. The 660nm comes on 10 minutes before lights on and stays on for 30 minutes after. I also have a 4 hour stretch of the 660nm during the middle of lights on. I should have the 365nm up and running in the next couple days so we will see how that goes also. It looks like the 660nm have given a boost to bloom production and size of the buds so far. I also used the 730NM to stretch out the two hashberry I have going this round as well. Learning to control the stretch via far red usage could become a very useful tool... :)
