Electrician advice

im going to be running this setup here soon and want to make sure I'm not overloading the circuit. I don't know much about electricity and wiring.
600 watts of led on 12/12
600 watts of led on 12/12
600 watts of hid on 18/6
200 watts on 18/6
150 watt fan x4 on 24/7
3 ebb and flow water pumps on 3x a day timer
2 large oscillating fans on 12/2
Several small computer fans on 18/6
Maybe a few more misc small items I'm not thinking of.
All of this equipment will be in 2 different rooms and a bathroom of my entire 2nd story. I'm assuming all of the outlets up there are on the same circuit but not sure yet. And I'm assuming it's a 15 amp circuit but again I'm not sure. This house was built in the 50s but the wiring was re done less than 10 years ago. Newer gfi outlets in my kitchen and newer breaker panel makes me think this.

If it's one circuit it's not gonna work. Go around and locate ur outlets and circuits. label outlet and circuit

Yea I need to do that. I did it for my 1st floor but not for upstairs. I'm assuming it's all on the same circuit up there.

With everything running thats about a 20amp draw...probably gonna need a dedicated 30amp service.This is ofc assuming standard 120v power.

So you think I'd be alright just running a seperate string of wiring to the flower room with the two 600 watt led setups on their own seperate breaker? Then could leave the rest plugged in as it is now?

Well,first things first.IF you are actually pulling that many watts from the wall it would be a 20amp draw.However,depending on the led they may not actually be pulling that many watts.Too many variables with led,see if you can get some info on them,what kind of current draw they have.

Okay, I'm gonna find out tomoro if the two rooms are on seperate circuits or not. Most likely they are. Flower room and a veg room. Think I'll leave the veg room lights and fans plugged into the walls and then find somewhere to run wires to the breaker panel that go to the flower room. And hook up all that rooms stuff to the new circuit. Thanks!

You're probably going to find 3 circuits upstairs. If this house is newer (built after 1990) then I can almost guarantee the bathroom has its own circuit, probably a GFI too. Depending on how you plant to run the lights, 3 circuits will handle this. 2 might handle it. 1 definitely wont no matter how you alternate the lighting schedules.

Also, as a rule of thumb we always calculated to 80%. Its not recommended to max things out when it comes to circuits.

Sounds like you need to pull a 220 from main panel to sub panel and tie into sub panel for rooms. I would never ever in my life dedicate ALl that for a single or even double 15 amp breaker... your crazy as hell for wanting to try.

Well that is why I am here getting advice before I do. Sounds like a good idea, the sub panel..

I think your right. There probably is at least two. Maybe a seperate gfi circuit in the bathroom.
I think what the person above this ^^ said about running 220 wiring from my main panel to a sub panel upstairs is a good idea. I can use everything in the flower room on this and the veg room should be fine plugged into the wall. If not I could run more wires across to the other room for more outlets. Does this sound pretty good? Thank you for your tips

In the biz, we always figure 1 amp for every 100 watts when working with lighting on 120 v circuits. This is not an absolute just a rough calculation to get you close - without grabbing a calculator. Use that formula as a take off when doing your calcs.

Adding a sub-panel has specific requirements that you'll need to understand especially if you start mixing metals but yes, its a damn fine idea. You can get a 4/3 aluminum feed pretty cheap.

I'm gonna try to have a friend help me do the electrical. But gonna try to at least run the wire myself and get things ready.... Doing this grow build right this 2nd time around so I'm gonna be patient and get the most important part down.. Electrical safety

I'm glad you said that, I was getting ready to ask if this house is where you and your family live and point out the need for safety. As an electrician we take safety very very seriously. If you've ever seen a 480v arc flash in a panel....you'd be blown away at the power that shit has. I've seen it instantly melt the end off a 1 1/4 inch Craftmans wrench. And the Craftmans 1 1/4 inch wrench is one helluva piece of steel..!!!

EDIT: In case you're wondering I didn't drop the wrench, my buddy did...fucked the whole panel and buss bars up.

Yea I will not touch electrical wiring. Not comfortable and don't know enough. My friend has wired whole houses so I feel much more comfortable letting him do it. Hoping he can fly in to town after Christmas and help me finish that and some other things. Hope to be operational by February. Gonna be sweet! Worth the wait

Should be eazy peazy if he knows what he's doing. Good luck.!!

And don't be cheating and using the duct work for your feed, the jacket isn't rated for that. Get yourself a fish tape and/or gopher poles.

Here's some pics of the start of my setup and the plans if you want to take a look. Might have some more good tips for me. Trying to do this right and so I can grow for a long period of time without needing anything. You can see the two 6" fans as the flower rooms Exaust. Ones pulling from the tent and the other from the top of the room near the other grow area. Each will have 3x3 flood trays on stands for a SOG grow. The intake 6" fan pulls from the ac bent in the bathroom during summer and the vent is blocked off during winter and it will just pull from the bathroom.
The mother area will have a 6" fan on a air cooled light fixture, and maybe another 4" on a thermostatically controlled outlet.
The clone enclosure will also have a therm controlled outlet with an Exaust hooked to it to help keep a good environment for them.
Don't mind the mess in this flower room. I emptied everything from the other room into it while I line the walls and floor. Under the exuast fans you see are some shelves. Those will come out and I'll make some type of dry rack there and close off the partial wall that I've built. There are light proof vents along the wall so the smell will be pulled through the filters.
