Excess ? As in too much money ? According to the government ? Who put them in charge of my pain ( illegal to treat with a substance that works) and my money ( I guess it not really mine since it says it is a federal reserve note )? Too much government ? An excessive amount .
MAybe the government should start underwriting cars and insurance .MAybe take away some of my toys so someone else can enjoy them .To be fair.
The worst part is they use the money to come up with new ways to fuck me over and waste the money they got .Its like a greek tragedy.

Why pick on churches? here is a top ten list of tax exempt organizations that don't pay tax's. And I don't know why football is one of them.

Sorry about directing my frustration with religion on you. I have a huge problem of any and all indoctrination of our youth. Persuading a child to believe the OUT RIGHT BULLSHIT, THAT A DEITY EXISTS before they develop cognitive thinking,rubs me the wrong way.

Like I said I don't go to church, but I have a lot of friends that do and I don't get rapped up around how they want to raise there kids. They have youth camps that my son has been involved with for years and he gets zero pay for helping. He volunteers all his time as a youth leader and the kids have fun in the sun.

Agreed, however, how is it you see fit the indoctrination of one source (the church your kid attends camp at) and not the other source (public education)?
We may disagree elsewhere- but on this you and I think exactly alike. Then again, having been through the public education system in this country, I can say I developed cognitive thinking skills in spite of the curriculum, not because of it.

You want me to chose the lesser of two evils and I chose to stand behind my wife with home school. And my son is not easily influenced but he sees the good things that church programs have that help the youth with life experiences . I am not sure what public schools do anymore, It seems to be brain washing kids into the progressive , liberal, democratic way of life. And thats all fine and dandy as long as they leave people alone.
