Socialism is basically everyone is and gets the same everything whether they want it or not.
My you are certainly mixed up. You completely misstate what is socialism, then you say you won't argue with people that don't understand the differences between socialism and communism. This makes sense in a twisted way, because what good would come from arguing with yourself?I'm just not going to argue with people that don't understand the differences between socialism and communism (Civil rights) and finances.
Your definition of socialism is simply wrong. Your definition best fits communism.
under Communism individuals are provided for or compensated based on their needs, in effect meaning that in a true communist system you wouldn’t have money and you’d simply be given what the government thinks you need in terms of food, clothing, accommodation, etc. Central to socialism is that individuals are compensated for based on their individual contribution, so people that work harder or smarter would receive more than those that don’t contribute.

This all probably is insignificant to you. Its my guess that socialism and communism are dirty words and used to inflame rather than inform. That said, if I were a socialist then my effort failed and no reward to me. On the other hand, if I were a communist, I'd still get my portion of whatever was allotted to me. If one is going to be wrong, as most times you are, its better to be a communist.
And none of this has anything to do with Obama or the ACA
