That's too slow man!If we are talking about ice, water, buckets and spoons I think we are on the same page.
i'll move up to a machine if this voodoo pans out with a spoon well enough. That's too slow man!
A wash mashine work bag full of material +ice in a washing machine, is only being aggitated, vs. an object like a wooden spoon, or kitchen mixer making contact with the material in a bubble bag work bag. So much more potential for getting green contaminates in the final product with spoons, etc.
In the end, you gotta do what you gotta do though, I get it. I've done the wooden spoon a couple times
some good advice in here.Bucky.....Just strap that wooden spoon to a cordless drill...voila super spin cycle. .
Dude i learned how to make ice hash in a few hours...trick is to make sure ur bubble bags are tight around ur bucket. ..take ur time while separating the bags...use a spray bottle to help filter the hash through the correct bag size...find a non clingy absorbent fabric ...spoon ur pattys onto the fabric to allow excess water to be drawn out..freeze pattys for 15-20 -min . Next microplane ur patty into what looks like sand or sugar..the texture is dictated by the tool...use parchment paper. .things can stick to wax if heat is accidentally introduced. ..
Don't get to frisky with the spoon...water should be dark but don't pulverize ur plant water...ice is key...the spoon swirls the ice the scrapes the crystals off...a gram fills a lip gloss jar..should yield a few trays...don't Microplane if it's really wet..u want light fluffy deliciousness. ..lolsome good advice in here.
i think i need one more smaller micron size too.
it's getting darker the more i agitate it, so at least that's going according to expectations. amounts look about right on the smallish end, but i've never done this before so i have no idea what 10 or 15 grams of hash looks like.
Does it ever stick??And when you do micro plane it freeze the micro plane before hand with your hash. You might have to re freeze thing a couple times through out the process so try to be quick with that part. I do it over a piece of cardboard instead of parchment to help pull out the moisture
If it's real hot it can get sticky for sure. Bubble doesn't like hot or humidity it sees to always be better in the winterDoes it ever stick??
how necessary is that?
- Its like a cheese grater you make the hash into s powder to dry
It's used to grade lemon..ginger...any culinary store will have them. It's a must!!!what the hell is microplaning?
i never saw that in any of the vids i watched or threads i read.
