Check out peakseedsBC's version as well. He got his stock from Frost who IIRC got his stock from Bros Grim.

I've grown his out before too. I think I liked it slightly better than the female seeds version.

That describes the Female Seeds C-99's that I have grown so far perfectly. 6 of them iirc, and they were all almost identical. Done in 7 weeks 12/12.

nice buds,man. very nice. make some seed and spread the love,man! seriously though. ill have to contiplate ordering though. they look too good to pass up. you know how it is though, too many strains-cant order them all. are those from a recent female c99 batch of this year??

Thanks man. I picked these up at Seedsman during their 4'th of July promo last year.

I'm going to be making seeds from a related line (Rosetta Stone) which I plan on sharing...

This is good to hear that they were recent. Sharing is caring . Yeah, id like to do some kinda preservation project of some sort. Thing is I dont have that free time or room like I once did years ago. It would be cool to do some old school lines only- before everything gets polyhybrid out and lost in the sauce. Either way rosetta sounds like a nice project you have going on. had someone offer some apollo 11 few years back in clone form to me. Couldnt get myself to take a chance on a live clone though the mail. Too risky to say the least. i know glg has some f4 or f5 but havent read any reports as to how they are.[/QUOTE]

any smoke report on that long flowering version of c99? at the beginning of this thread they said 52 days (7 weeks and 3 days) was perfect for cindy, but yours was looking ripe at that age.

is that an old style mars? what wattage (the number they claim like 100x3 or whatever)?

I might of passed up the answer but I planted 3 female seeds c99 (2 plants has long narrow sativa type leaves and 1 plant is a broader indica leafed one). I'm flowering the two slimmer leafed ones and keeping the indica looking leaf type for a mom for clones. Did I choose ok? Which type is most favorable. I've read where there is an indica pheno and 2 sativa phenos. Is the indica looking one going to be a good choice and what is it like? Does anyone know?

actually i'm realizing I have all 3 phenos with these 3 plants, the indica one and a shorter sativa one and a taller sativa stretchier one. I'm probably keeping the wrong pheno for a mom seems like the one to keep is the sativa one that has the poopy pineapple smell? Anyways has anyone tried the indica and liked it? I realize this is an old thread and everyones probly dead by now but maybe someone is interested with my question?

I have an indica one drying, it had zero smell by time it finished even if i rub my hand up against it. However, it was the frostiest and had the most dense flowers. It actually finished in the same amount of time as the shorter sativa, the one with the smaller leaves - around 53 days had amber. I don't know if you've grown these before, but start checking trichs at day 45 or it will sneak up on you and be in the perfect ripe window before you know it.

I didn't believe the smell thing because every mj plant i have grown smelled the same, old skunk with a twist..that is until i grew fms c99. Very low odor strain and it didnt get that pineapple sugary smell till about two weeks into flower but wow its awesome. Doesn't even have an mj smell at all and i never needed a filter. If you were to walk by you wouldn't even smell it until you opened the door and that is with exhaust fans on. It smells very very indescribably pineappley sweet, doesnt even has the slightest mj skunk smell. Cant wait to smoke it..
