The positive, economic effect of lowering the minimum wage to $0

When you sign the W4, you are consenting to be taxed. If you don't want to be taxed, don't sign the W4.

Oh Robby, you so silly!

An agreement made under duress is not a valid agreement.

If Uncle Buck said sign the W4 or you could have a choice of only two outcomes...either never take a shit again or he would shit all over your bathroom floor, all of the potential outcomes have not been made available, false dichotomy in need of a lobotomy face.

Oh see4, you so silly!

Right on.

My son did that, and we are headed that way. We are going to make the loop from Kona across Saddle road over to Hilo and then hwy 19 up and around back to kona. My son did go up to the summit and we might as well. I did notice even from my house that the stars are brighter here and you see a lot more streaks from debris, than back in Oregon.

I picked up a 4x4 so we are good to go. I have to go four wheeling to get to some of my fishing holes.
Seriously, DO NOT MISS THE SUMMIT! Make sure you get up to the summit at least 2 hours prior to sunset. A high quality digicam is a must.

Have fun......

You buy a home, you consent to pay the property tax. You buy a car, you consent to pay the sales tax. You work a job, you consent to pay the income tax..

Where in any tax is the absence of consent?

No, you do not. That's the same thing as saying a woman with a hot body walking down a street frequented by perverts consents to the perverts aggression. You have taken two separate and distinct things, home ownership ( a natural right) and combined it with something else arising from coercion, taxation.

If 100% taxation off your labor is slavery, which percent is "not slavery" ? 43.55% ? 21.7 % ? 76.2 % ? Which percent?

yeah yeah yeah. We have jeeps with mounted sub-auto machine guns roaming ranches from Zapata county up to just south of Austin. Use the powder to make your nephew some niggar chasers for July 4th.

BTW, you don't have to smoke, or drink, or own a smartphone, TV, boom box or Nike choos. Those are luxuries you can do without. Then there is the bike and public transportation.....
Lol I feel guilty that I laughed at that .... Your such a red neck. They should print your face on every can of Busch light beer

No Rob. Nobody forced you to work at the employer who asked you to sign the W4. You made the choice. The employer is not forcing you to sign the W4, neither is the government. If that W4 is signed by you, it is because you chose to sign it. Your logic is comical.

i'm just getting at how much extra hourly you'd have to pay to get to $15 x hours worked..how much in payroll would that really be? less than $500 per week?
Ok... Finished with lunch rush and I have a sec-

That's not what's important when running a business- it's about keeping your labor costs in control. In a restaurant you're usually looking for 1/3's, (1/3 labor/ 1/3 food/ 1/3 fixed costs) so if I pay about 7k/week or 360k/year my gross sales are about 3x that. You don't just add on labor costs unless your revenue is increasing... Unless you're a fucking moron. An extra $500/wk or 25k a year in labor is a HUGE addition- I'd need to bring in 75k more in sales/year.

Plus, a business owner doesn't just pay more unless they get something back for it. If the skill of my employees suddenly became better or cogs decreased it may be possible, but in my industry, my costs for food only go one direction..... Up.

And if you question my ethics or say I'm only in it for myself, you'd be blown away at the capital investment I've spent of my own money to get my place up and running, and the costs of permits and fees to run a food establishment per year. All that on top of utilities and rent, and it doesn't leave much. In fact most would be blown away how little I make in a year. I don't make much, but to me the altruistic feeling of knowing I give 16 people jobs that need them, I do fantastic things for the kids and local school district, and I donate my time and product to churches, hospitals and research facilities all over town daily if not weekly is what makes me feel good.

I don't believe in handouts. I paid off 120k in undergrad, as well as 48k in culinary school by the time I was 30. Simply by working my fucking ass off. I at one time held 6 jobs, and worked about 20 hours a day while in San Fran. I've lived in probably 10 different states and never have held a job longer than 5 years, as I apprenticed with top chefs all over the country. Many of my staff have worked for me for over 2 years now- do they do it for the money? Probably not! But there's more to life than money. All of my staff know that nothing comes for free, and if you work your fucking ass off you can have anything you want. Making someone like me pay $15/hour to someone with skills that is only worth $9 is not right and unacceptable to me.

All these arguments from bleeding hearts and "just because" and "don't you appreciate your staff?" Are ludicrous and hilarious. As an employer it is not my job to make sure someone can pay their rent. There's 24 hours in a day and if you're only working 8 of them and you can't pay your rent, get a second or third. That's what I did. In San Francisco... One of the most expensive places on earth- and I was making $6 an hour.

Alright well sorry for the rant I'm heading home now at the end of my day.

"If 100% taxation off your labor is slavery, which percent is 'not slavery' ?" -- I have an answer for this. The answer is; When chicken fish see tire in moon carpet, it asks when glasses pick dirt knuckles.

You must smoke some amazing shit dude, because you are literally bat shit crazy.

and at that time can re-negotiate if you'd prefer to be an independent contractor by completing a W-9 which will garner you a 1099 at the end of the year and can do as you wish in reporting taxable income..

unless of course your job description is 'employee status' then you would need to sign a W-4..the IRS doesn't allow you to categorize yourself, you must meet a series of test questions.

the IRS is not a very friendly group.

My job description is Big furry farmer with a penchant for leaving others alone. I'm guessing that is probably illegal in some way. So yeah, fuck them. I own myself, so does everybody.

Well done, but be careful. Any time there's an element of truth to the real world the village idiots pop out of the woodwork claiming it came from FOX news. :)

But not to worry. It's really not about FOX news, it's about facing the cold hard facts, the truth.

How did ya like that cute little comment about the nigger chasers? Won't get too many off those 4 girly man bullets but I bet the little nephew will have fun with them. ;)

Busch? No way. Perhaps the national beer of Texas - Lone Star beer. I'd be honored. There's quite a legend to that beer, and it's my go to cerveza.

If you're a farmer who works for himself, why again are you crying about being forced to pay income tax? Aren't you subsidized?
