Burn. How's the catch? Pulling anything big out there right now? I went spinner casting on the south mokelumne last week. Knabbed some decent brookies. They were delicious.
No I haven't. Later this week I have a chance. Going out with my neighbor in his boat later this week to catch AHI. So maybe we will hook up a big one. Not as big as that one you hooked with the chicken fries though. Not sure if they get that big, i believe the state record is 400 something lbs.

I said what I wanted to say and you have showed that you don't under stand so there you go. You can't fix stupid no matter how hard you try.

You have an interesting imagination a lot like your poop on the floor, so you can clean it up buddy.
Says the guy who doesn't know the word is "understand", not "under stand". Your comments are devoid of intelligence and thought. Congrats.

How could someone reach the age of 53 in the US and not acquire basic skills which would provide substantially more than the minimum wage?

Who is truly at fault here?

The individual or the system?
This is the crux of this issue.

FWIW, I am inclined to blame the individual's apparent negligence in the acquisition of life enhancing skills , as opposed to any deficiencies inherent in the system.
Regardless, this is indeed sad;

"That's going to be a problem," Hunter acknowledged. "A raise will kick me out of CountyCare. Then the medicines are going to cost so much I won't be able to afford my apartment."

For this McDonald's cook, wage hike could be more harm than help...

Should a 60 year old with no skills go hungry, without medical insurance and without help in this country?

Well, therein lies the rub.

If he were to suffer your above mentioned hardships and deprivation, who would be to blame?

His inability or desire to acquire life enhancing skills, or the inadequate system which seems to have failed his lack of initiative and gumption?

Who is truly at fault?

You can't answer the question honestly because deep down, you know he shouldn't, regardless of his circumstances, yet your ideology says he should because he might have made poor life decisions..

we've been over this.

wages rise faster than prices do.

that you keep repeating the falsehood that it works the other way only signals to the rest of us that you are very persistent in your stupidity.

Huh???
I answered this in post # 533.

Here again, is my answer :FWIW, I am inclined to blame the individual's apparent negligence in the acquisition of life enhancing skills , as opposed to any deficiencies inherent in the system.

It is not my fault that you seem to have missed this.

I already know that you blame the dread system for this poor fellows deficiencies.
I respectfully disagree with great vigor!
It is indeed his fault alone!
53 years old and he has yet to gain a clue???
Sorry.
