Not surprised I don't use any boosters or additives on hydro neither.I didnt see a difference with canna pk 13/14 at all.
As I mentioned in my journal a while ago: Funny how obvious it is, the ones in the two coldest corners are most purple. These two buds, the darkest by far [the ones I posted on previous page] are in the back right corner near a hole where my hydro pump's wires went through, which is near the window, sort of like a mini intake.I was going ask what your temps were.
I believe it doesI always wondered about that ph up and down. Does anyone know if that stuff kills microlife?
I can grow a plant and make it purple with temps alone. 9 times out of ten someone would prefer the purple over the green even though the green might be better. I dont know why must be a mental thing they just like it more.As I mentioned in my journal a while ago: Funny how obvious it is, the ones in the two coldest corners are most purple. After last winter I rebuild my closet and placed it on a different side of the room, near the window, which works better most of the year but not during the winter.
Temps by day were 72-81, a night hours as low as 56 (for several weeks, not the entire run), usually 61-65.
Top dressing may be necessary under some circumstances. If you think you need it then leave three to four inches at the top of your pot. If you really want a water only you have to grow soil not pot Your getting into micro biology.Water only....no teas or topdressings? I'm curious about your soil mix, I feel like we've had a conversation about cow manure before
Does this really carry you through to harvest:
I generally do water only during veg but have started using something called p13 organics (just a little) because of the significant increase in growth.
All these will go on my big screen in a couple weeks or so and then I'll start adding teas and topdressings as needed...but how nice it would be to do water only and finish with healthy plants

The special ingredient IMO is love. You have to love what you're doing. Now you love your plants. What makes plants happy? Think about this do plants grow in the arctic? Do they grow in the desert? What about the birds do they live in the tundra or the desert? IMO birds and plants go together. humming birds are a perfect example. Some birds adapt to a specific plant and thats all they eat. Google the bird song I posted some links earlier in this thread.I have multiple tubs of soil "growing" in my garage
It always seems to run out of gas around day 40 so I always topdress and give teas in advance to prevent this...I was just curious about your soil mix
can you use fresh sea weed or kelp?I like to use soluble seaweed and micronized soft rock phosphate for an all-natural PK boost.
Would not recommend it.can you use fresh sea weed or kelp?
Why not? If you wash it well and only use a small amount? Do you have to dry it first? Or is it just not good for some reason?Would not recommend it.
I would dry it first yes. Being used fresh it may rob the soil of nitrogen as it breaks down and it may also go anaerobic. Why not? If you wash it well and only use a small amount? Do you have to dry it first? Or is it just not good for some reason?
I'm asking about the seaweed or kelp.
I seem to be running out of gas around day 30. Way to early!!! I have been experimenting and noticed I get earlier fade after giving a tea. Almost like it throws it into fade!!! I put my brewer away and am NOT going to be making any tea's for awhile to see how things go.
So far the one plant I am feeding the P13 to seems to be doing good. It is still in veg while I wait for the clones to root. I just put 25 gallons of used soil back into the cooking tub with the rest of the soil. I need to dump it all out on the floor in the garage and mix it up then test it. The last time I tested the soil it was high in Nitrogen and good every where else. Maybe it has lost some of the N by now.
Are you guys potting up before you flower? I grow clones in a 4"x4" transplant to a 1 or 2 gallon then to a five or bigger two weeks before flowering. Try over sized pots.I have multiple tubs of soil "growing" in my garage

I start in 4" squares and finish in 12" squares with 3 to 4 transplants in between. I only use square pots and my roots are usually from top to bottom. I shouldn't be crying though because my SB looks great...I'm having trouble with one strain that I've never run before but the rest are groovy. Are you guys potting up before you flower?
