I'm thinking that concentrates or extracts will be made out of the harvest waste. Can't see perfectly good bud being used, it costs me about $1 a gram to make shatter/budder, strictly using harvest waste.

Itsme.
Why does it cost you a dollar a gram using waste?

And i doubt theres a decision on this case til the conroy mmar pr case is done.
If conroy wins and the homegrows are allowed to continue and hopefully start back up then theres no way this case wins.
They are worried about the hazards of people growing at home now and thats without boiling butane or alcohol.

Im not sure i want everyone to be allowed to do this. Theres to many dumb asses out there.

I think you guys are right that its the lps that will get this gig if anyone. Perhaps that would be the ideal outcome. They can specialize in raditiating the twood right out of the loose leaf.

GW is the big one that comes to mind that's already in the pipe...their going to give it to patients in a spray (probably among other ways). How is Sativex delivered? Are any of them in tab form yet?
bingo.. tab form is the holy grail of pharmaceuticalization <insert picture of smiling old folks>

Ok got more Advanced stuff donate besides the stuff from my store and will get getting stuff from Hydrotek, Nutrilife and Grotek early next week. The court case is March 20 so gives enough time to hopefully sell off all the items.

this could be a lose lose if they win, it g

the Allard case is in a few weeks but the Smith case at the SCC regarding extracts Canada wide is in March
On top of that Smith case is not asking the world + $1000000 from people.

Allard is the right to grow one which is in Feb/

yeah but i don't think there was anything to change garden locations...Beemish is there but unless her case is accepted, there is no one who has a PPL but needs to change addresses. i think they missed that angle

Ive seen RSO at all the vancouver and online dispensaries at 35 a g, and avg price of BHO at $65.

I'm thinking one could buy decent bm medicine at 1600/lbs and yield 80ish grams of bho/rso, so $20/g.
What should that be sold to the end user for?

35 for gross napatha oil, or 40-90 for bho of the lesser amounts it is most likely made from trim.

Its a scale of economy thing, one might be able to afford to make $100 or less per lb extracting and retailing if one had 50-100lbs per month, but may have to make $400 a unit if only doing 5-15/month. Seems like the demand would be there at a low enough price to be able to get to that scale. Hypothetically, anyway. Ideally one could find nice $1500 stuff and be able to move it for $20/g making their $100/unit. Even more ideally one cultivates a couple hundred units a year and can afford to sell it for for $10 or under a g.

Ramble ramble....

BHO is much more expensive to make and doesn't yield as well as other solvents. Mainly because butane extraction is more pure..

The difference is.. butane is non polar. It dissolves cannaboids off herb FASTER than a polar solvent like ISO does and with less crap.
You still get lipids and fats in your batch. All can be removed.
There are a few people on this site who make great medicinal oil.
I'm not one of them. :)
