Extracted Cannabis oil should be available to Canadian Patients

Except that is ridiculous because a ruling in favor of Smith would not impact MMPR rules at all. Inn fact, it would have the opposite effect. Health Canada will say edibles must be carefully regulated through the state and created by regulated corporations, not us silly people making it in our homes, because we're just silly citizens who cannnot be trusted!
Who the fuck is going to produce and sell it once regulated then oh wisest member of the forum? I will answer for you fuckwad...The LPs thats who

Just something going through my head...

When making oils, pounds turn into ounces. If an LP is selling grams of bud for (X)$...think how much the oil will cost?

I'm thinking that concentrates or extracts will be made out of the harvest waste. Can't see perfectly good bud being used, it costs me about $1 a gram to make shatter/budder, strictly using harvest waste.

Itsme.

You would think that, but LP's are already selling the bud we would make oil from. Now the question is would they devalue the popcorn to make oil with.

How generous of you CannaReview! Awesome!
Will see how much I can get donated. Not exactly sure how I'll do this since I'm in Mission so a bit far for some. Not sure if it should be a draw so anyone who donates gets a ticket and the random draw or give each item/combo a price which will be say below wholesale and do a first come first server basis. I'm pretty sure I can get quite a bit donated.

A few donations have come in and there are a couple of hours to go for Ontario Medicinal Marijuana to match donations up to two grand.

Maybe The Lower Mainland Cannabis Activist United group could assist? They are meeting again on Feb. 12th with Freddie Pritchard and Anne Genovy.

My prediction is that Smith et al will win this case and the Feds will have a year to regulate and that is when the Food and Drug Act will come into play. (My opinion only)

I'd say that's a pretty good guess..

Will dried marijuana be assigned a Drug Identification Number?
Marijuana for medical purposes is not an approved therapeutic drug in any country in the world, including Canada. Scientific studies of its safety and efficacy are not conclusive.
no, dried mj will likely never get a DIN #, but oil well...

it's entirely possible that some LPs will scrap selling flowers and only sell extracts.. and the rec market will be the place to get flowers... just a guess..

The smith case doesn't have any bearing on commercial production, that's what I'm explaining to you. You spend so much time trying to argue, you don't read. It allows for small scale personal production, not commercial production. Commercial production is an entirely different animal that will require the same sort of over regulation we see in the herbal supplements industry, etc. Now, re read that a few times before you go writing more dumb things.

I can't wait until I get to buy the government's "Legal" weed at $25 a gram plus 25% tax. Oh boy!

Well who knows what the price will be. Considering "revenue from taxes" was the big push for LP's, where are these taxes? PST/GST is nothing in tax revenue they get more in PST/GST from illegal growers spending their money locally. So are the LP prices high because they want users to get used to the prices when the gov introduces their new "cannabis" tax? LP's will then lower their profit and the gov tax will be the rest.
