There ain't do damn voter fraud

Oh, I remember where this is going. You are going to pretend that registration laws are voter ID laws again, huh?

Of course.

nice attempt to weasel away.

you said, and i quote:

care to name a few of those 18 states?

I just repeated what you told me. Yanno, that Alaska doesn't have voter ID laws. You also said you didn't have them there in Colorado. Why do we have to keep doing these laps?

I was using ncsl.org as a source for that number. That number has now changed to 31 States with Voter ID in force. Figure out which ones have no laws or are aren't in force on your own.

Now what? Back to pretending that registration laws are voter ID laws again?

where did i say that?

and why won't you confirm a simple question?

You are gearing up to say that NE is a voter ID State, which would make ncsl.org a fat liar, and thus, a propagandist website. Pretty simple deduction.

So.. why don't you send your 'proof' to ncsl.org and tell them to update their info. Make sure you get them to remove CO and AK from the list of voter ID States while you are at it.

To what end is this line of retarded debate, anyways?

that's a lot of whining when all you need to do is confirm what your own source says.

i have no need to comment on your source, so why not just answer the question instead of trying to weasel away?

Why do I need to confirm it? I cited it as a source already. Is this you playing courtroom lawyer?

edit: Since you have no need to comment on the source, I assume you agree with it?

i just want to be sure of what you're claiming here, so as not to leave any weasel room.

you said that "18 States have no laws requiring any documentation to vote", and you named a source which identifies nebraska as one of those states.

for the sake of brevity, we can refer to them as 'states with no voter ID laws'.

do you agree about this basic framework?

Haven't you learned by now that I'm always at least a few steps ahead of you?

I say, "NE is not a voter ID State."
You say, "AH ha! NE requires first time mail voters to show ID"
I say, "You can still vote in NE without ever showing any documents as it currently stands today"
You say, "But showing ID means it's a voter ID law!"

Which then brings up the source, just like I said it would. So lets just cut to the chase. Is ncsl.org a bunch of liars or not? Do they have their facts wrong? If so, maybe you should let them know. Like I said, make sure to let them know that you think AK and CO are not voter ID States while you are at it.

alaska is not a voter ID state. you do not need to show ID to vote in alaska.

yes, because our state is not a voter ID state.

is that your final answer?
whitest-kids-u-know-slow-jerk-o.gif

i'll take that as a yes.

if nebraska is not a voter ID state, then why do they have pages of regulations dictating what forms of identification are needed in order to be able to vote?

http://www.sos.ne.gov/elec/voter_info.html

You mean like this part, directly from your link?

Do I need a voting card or my ID in order to vote?

No, the card is for information only and does not need to be presented to election officials in order to vote.
The only time voters are asked for their ID is if they were a first time Nebraska registrant who mailed in their registration application and didn’t provide ID at that time.

So uhh.. yeah.. Tell me again how this isn't going down exactly how I said it would?

voters are asked for their ID

yeah, that's what i'm saying.

they have pages detailing what documents you need to submit in order to be able to vote.

so i guess all 50 states have voter ID, your wish isgranted and we can all sleep soundly knowing our elections are 99.999849% perfect.

thank you, good sir.

LOL, way to selectively edit and declare victory!

So then clearly ncsl.org is a lying propagandist website then huh? Yeah, you aren't predictable at all.
