yeah it's a mess tiktak, i see the same;
they go for the taser way to quickly when it's unneeded. usually on unarmed upset people.
.,.then situations where it should be used.. they pull their gun.

We have had a couple in ontario this yr too.
The kid on the streetcar that was shot nine times then tased because he called a cop a pussy.
Then the guy in brampton pulled over for a driving infraction is shot for reaching for his wallet.
I have always said that the problem with cops is they were either the bully in high school or the kid that got bullied trying to get back at the world.
They need to do alot more psych screening before hiring these whackos and the most sickening part is those cops are both back at work.

I swear the best method for picking cops would be automatically disqualifying anyone that applies. Because they want the authority. Then draft ordinary citizens to do the job. They probably wouldn't have as much of an agenda

Now everyone has a shoot first mentality.
The video of the kid on the street car turns my stomach. He had one 6" knife and there were ten cops. With guns drawn and its like they thought the guy was jet li or something.

That's what I'm saying. In that situation it should have been 10 cops with tasers drawn

Not even
The first cop that arrived should have ran in the back door and shot him with a tranquillizer or a taser. Crisis could have been avoided but since its ok for cops to shoot people they just kill em and blame terrorists.

I used to think they shouldnt even carry guns then they would be forced to use their brains instead.
Cops get bigger guns criminals get bigger n more guns. Its a never ending slippery slope.

sadly.. most the time it's ordinary citizens for simple misdemeanors. not criminals for serious crimes.

Sure and most cops are happier setting up radar traps on the side of the road catching people late for work speeding doing ten over.
I wouldnt want to be a cop under any circumstance for any amount of money. I dont think i could sleep at nite after being such a hypocrite. The crest in their shoulder says to serve and protect but i think the only person they really serve or protect are themselves.
Most canadian jails n prisons are full of people that have done victimless crimes while the real criminals get good lawyers and get off.

I absolutely dread going to the doc or hospital now...amazing that I thought "they" were trying to help me for so long....I think it was about management and control now.
I'm very selective myself...I don't go unless I have to.
Sometimes you don't have a choice though.

I love the fact that they can call all these people terrorist yet the idea of stopping all the real terrorists from coming to canada never even gets mentioned.
People would instead call me a racist for even sayin it.

Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever you want. I believe Canada (harper) is taking a page from U.S. books. I find it very coincidental that not 2 weeks after his decision to send planes to battle ISIS, we have 2 incidents of "terrorism" that help solidify his position. They are declared terrorists before the investigation is even completed. I mean the definition of terrorism is an act designed to instill feAR and terror in the population, so technically any gangland murder of an informant is also terrorism, as it's purpose is to instill fear and terror to prevent any further witnesses from talking. Sorry if this seems like a rant, but I'm so tired of the media's bullshit that now every time I hear the word terrorism on tv I cringe, roll my eyes and change the channel.

I was watching old (read early 90's) episodes of Cops. I was shocked. They actually TALKED people into dropping the knife.
Very good point tiktac...the Cops TV show is a great visual for how the police have changed in the last 30 years. They have graduated to much more aggressive action a lot quicker now. I guess they're scared in reality. They watch too much " Cops " and don't smoke enough dope....man. Hippy talk there.
