My friend, remember when you make cross's, that are cross's themselves, you just get a mot of genetics. It does not mean it will not turn out good or produce something worth saving, but how are you going to keep the genetics alive of what you like when you are not sure what parent contributed it. I know I am being over critical, but you do so well with the LED building and spectrum manipulation. Okay not being an a$$, just some food for thought.
high RH and / or insufficient air flow. The buds and leaves transpire and supply enough moisture that if there isn't enough air flow the bigger denser stickier buds will get bud rot.Bud rot indoors? What causes that? RH?
Bud rot indoors? What causes that? RH?
Yea,the ones I got are causing the same problem.Ughhh. These cxas suck..the buds are way too big
I think it's mainly genetic,I dumped one of my favorite strains because the buds got so big and leafy it would get bud rot inside, even with plenty of air movement and RH between 40 to 45%Bud rot indoors? What causes that? RH?
Yea...I kinda expected it.
My humidity gets near 100% all the time living in a tropical locale. The tight confines, lots of vegetation, and slow airflow are all combining to give me predictable problems in the larger buds.
So, I think my only option is to put a dedicated 4" inline in my flower room. Now that I'm consistently getting larger buds I'm going to need to control my environment better.
My minimal airflow worked well enough with the smaller buds I was growing with 1w and 3w LEDs. But these full size plants need more airflow.
I don't want a/c, or dehumidifiers. My space is confined to a shitty area for now with no airflow. So, the only option I can think of is to step up the ventilation.
I'm using geopots right now. Their just like fabric smart pots but a little thicker and stronger material. They stay consistently medium wet with the blumats unless I give it a drench. There's usually never any runoff which I love. The plants and medium are in a pretty happy balance that doesn't need flushing or runoff.Pos do you ever have issues with draining on the planter box / soil bed?

Think that's what you mean hyroot...or did you mean water not soaking into the medium?
If that's the case...I have lots of different sized aeration amendments so the water gets soaked right up.
Edit....not familiar with planter boxes at all. I've just been running the heavier duty fabric pots. I've never done well in closed up pots though so I'd imagine more aeration and drainage the better
I think @MrFlux was using them...i thought you were using the white planter boxes in your last grow where you got a pound.
