there are a few things that can contribute to bud rot indoors IME,
here are the ones I have experienced.

genetics are one. some strains just seem prone to it, especially
ones that grow huge tops.

high degree of temperature fluctuations from day to night are
another. the more the temperature fluctuates, the more the humidity
fluctuates as well.

leaf die off is a third cause that i have encountered. dead leaves
are fungal food, period. that's the role of fungus in the ecosystem,
decompose material that is rich in lignin and cellulose.

One last shot before the cut. It's a little early but I've got things to get to..

Yields way down on this run. Combination of low yield gsc and straight to flower from a fresh transplant. Canopy was a lot less filled this round..

Gsc smells really good so after a smoke test she'll probably stick around..

Thought the light was done..but not quite yet. Have a few things I'd like to try..of course

First up..all white. Well, almost all white... Put the three 365nm LEDs back in. It's gonna be a reduced wattage run without the reds but it should tell me what I want to know.

I heard GSC was a low yielder,that's why I've never made a effort to find a clone.

I do have a offer for a free Bubba Kush,suppose to be the real deal. Is it worth it or mostly hype?

If it is "pre-98 bubba kush" it is the business. It is by far one of my favorites for pain management.

I love my bubba kush, It's a favorite with everyone I smoke it with. It yields good and has a distinctive coffee, hashy, dank aroma.

It's also the only bubba variant I've ever tried so i don't know how true that holds against other versions. It's probably my best all around strain right now. The only problem is it'll put you to sleep if you smoke too much.

That's what my friend is claiming. How is the flower time ,yield and is it a finicky strain?

roots and grows great. Indica so a little stocky but will stretch some. Not finicky at all. 8-9 weeks flower normally. closer to 8 for me normally but the led is taking about a week longer than hps for me but still within a week or so of normal.

Really... Its usually a favorite and I havent ran two plants of it yet. only one each run... LOL my problem is I like variety... and morning smoke...LOL!

Nah...very vigorous. All the clones seem to take easily. Shes also the heaviest feeder in my stable which seems to translate into the large yield.

I got it as a clone from a friend. I have no idea if it came from a seed company or super clone...it's definitely much better than most things I've run

Guess I better get it for a run. The story goes that my friend got it from a serious breeder who had his cut verified with the creator.

Bubba traits from what I've read are strong even in crosses so should be good regardless. But verified...even better..

Alrighty then..few days of veg to make sure my soils ok then flower before they get too big.

Few types of strains, this should be interesting. Chocolope gets the bigger pots. If anyone's ever run her I'd love to hear your thoughts on chocolope. Her description sounded nice..

She's a rather great plant .Had her couple of times ,but outdoors .
Can't say much about her 'growth habits ' ..It was kinda a 'guerilla-ops' back then...
Left them to grow by their owm ,almost ...

Been thinking a bit...it's simple really. The bubba needs to look better with the all white vs 660nm. If I miss the red I'll just cut the deep red in half again.

So in roughly the same area I've done 80w of deep red...40w of deep red....and 30w of deep red. The next one will be roughly 12w in a 2 x 4 area. At that point it just turns into a signaler of sorts. Not using it to actually produce bud just to signal go.

So the all white needs to do this or better..


Same bubba clone was a lot smaller when thrown straight to flower. Almost looks like a different plant. So I'll be vegging her enough to get the bigger top
