If I'm not mistaken but those secondary optics where used on magnum panels two years ago.......terribly inefficient as the pics suggest(light permeating through them)

Well will see what they do.......have fun pet.

I had nothing to do with the design. Just lucky enough to test and report on them

Some times in early production runs concessions are made early on that will be improved upon later

Right now the SS 150 is ~ 18" above the seedlings. The light hitting them seems pretty intense; much more than the 2 white ufos I had over them

Yes, I was expecting a 150 and did not bother to check.

Only this morning, when looking at the plants did I notice the sticker says SS 100

That aside, the plants look happy.

I had some yellowing after first day, when I had the SS 100 too close, especially replacing the 2 ufo panels, which have no secondary lenses

This morning the new leafs are a proper shade of green

They are more dense than my last harvest with red LEDs. My last harvest (also first) was just as dense as almost anything I used to buy from a dispensary "back home". I did buy some once that I swear were laced with lead fishing weights they were so heavy and dense, I remember they were difficult to grind.

This little rascal is intense.

Yesterday, I lowered the plants again. Now ~ 18" below the light

Clones are looking good- all tops look perky, one has 2 roots coming out

Seems like a great clone light, too

I increased ppm from ~ 550 > 650 and will bump to ~ 800 today

I have slowly reduced o/o now at 12/12

Stretching like crazy now, so I incorporated the Cube

Working in a 50 x 50 tent sure makes life easier

I'm interested to see that new company. I have been talking with a few up and coming companies too...nice to see some potential quality lights coming out, not just a trendy named reseller of china lights.
And will be good to see the spyder again. This time 100%. And 4x4 should give an idea to coverage possibilities.

I get that fran has his own thing with pet and is a long accumulated disposition. But you are a nobody with nothing to show and everything to prove. A nobody that has a shitty 3x3 tent with an assortment of led's that has been there for ~3 months and is yet to flower...my plants would have been through a 10 foot roof already. Step up your game and grow some decent plants before you start trying to talk tough to impress the cool kids. You either have a crush on pet...or just have no good plants to spend your time with....probably both.

If you limit the light and keep them under feed you can grow them slow and keep them shorter. Many of us don't have the luxury of a dedicated veg and flower rooms. I have used the U- Haul cardboard wardrobe box as a seedling / clone box in the past. Once I fill my flower tent there is nowhere else to put the next round.of plants until it is freed up...

Anyway, a light's true potential lies in its' umoles/m^/sec

A 260 pulls almost 1800umol @12", and still ~1500 @18".
