k i read the whole thread until about the mid 140 page range. seemed to gather all that was needed by that point the rest seemed to be flaming one another and repeat information for the most part.
wanted to say thanks again for the tea recipe. I've been using it in veg and my roots are looking great. My conditions are stable, res temps are always at 70, and i run RO water, dutch master A+B, DM silica, and add.27.
i brew my tea with simply 2 gallons of ro water, a handful of ancient forest alaska humus, a dash of molasses, and a teaspoon of mycogrow.
i did find that adding rhizotonic to the res (not to the tea) did great for boosting root growth.
i also did find that its best NOT to add tea to cloners (bubble cloners/aero cloners) until after roots are beginning to show. i found that using tea before that point lead to a higher rate of stem rot. its best to just run tap water and a drop of chlorine while rooting.
my tea never gets frothy except for right after i add the mycrogrow. but it works fine. i add 1 cup per 5 gallons once a week, and i only change res every 2-4 weeks (just depends when the plant tells me its time). never have any smell, never have any problems. i do have a little bit of biofilm deposit on the bottom of my res, and my airstones in my brewing container are always covered in bioflim slime. i dont sterilize after every brew, i just rinse quickly with hot water.
