Will it be enough

I have a cupboard with 96 actual cfl watts at the moment will that be enough to veg for a while, until I can afford more, my plan is to double it so it will be 192 actual cfl watts would that be enough to finish off a plant threw flower and all?

What you mean by decent - i think some 20-30g / 1ounce is possible!

I may be wrong here but i think that really depends how long you veg for.

Yea that is right, say I veg it untill about 1.5-2 foot then put into 12/12 for flower

You want to keep you plant low with cfls.if you go 1.5 or 2ft before 12/12 its guna grow to tall.and remember keep every cfl within 3inches from plant

2 foot is too tall when growing with cfl? Even with side lighting??
If I veg till say 1 foot what kind of yield could I expect

Double height? Iv never had a plant stretch to double height while flowering

Ok maybe exaggerated little but with cfls your guna want to keep your plant lower with cfls

Well if your not guna top and lst your deff guna need side lighting.my first grow with cfls I had 10 -23w hanging all around the plant.and I prob could have used more to be honest

I'm just curious here, but what did you use before to grow if not with cfl's? I don't have too much experience, but this grow I had one plant almost tripled in size because of stretching and the rest doubled or really close to it. Maybe with cfl's it doesn't, I have never flowered with them.

I always thought the stretching occured during the dark period of 12 / 12. This led me to think any lighting you'll still get stretch during flowering.
Any thoughts on that? thanks

I usually grow outdoors but that isn't possible anymore

i do deffinatly have stretch during flower but no where near double or triple height
