Actually yes it was. I can deal with people saying that there are other options than just killing an intruder, but when you bust out and say that you should run out of your own house when someone breaks in is a whole new level of stupid.

You will never be able to justify not defending yourself, your family and your property against some stupid ass intruder that shouldn't be in your house to begin with.
I never distorted his argument, he did that himself from the moment he said you should run out of your house. That has got to be one of the most cowardly things I have ever heard and if he has a family I feel sorry for them cause while they are being murdered, raped or whatever, that coward bolted. If I was to ever get the slightest inkling that my families life is in danger I will take whatever steps I need to protect them. You understand that? when the law states that you can protect your home ( which your car is now a extension of ) and your family with deadly force
then the intruder should have already taken into account the likely hood of them being shot for their actions plain and simple am i saying its right maybe ,maybe not
not my call to judge every situation if they are running dont shoot if they do anything besides freeze run or drop to their knees then they have already entered a non verbal agreement that they have a total disregard for their own life at that point

and the odds that you would catch me without a loaded firearm are fairly slim

notice in the countries where law abiding citizens dont have guns there is a high death rate by firearms
