Would anyone know the reason why those buds aint any bigger than that u can see on the pics? :O May be the ballast that aint realy workin on 600w? is it possible? I have a 600w hps 45cm from the buds runnin temps from 27-29C
Hope you are right.. Because i was runnin 5 autos at the same time... and they were weird.. 1 was like budless he had small buds as corn... 1 was small as fuck... 3 were lookin like lowriders and gave me 30g ... not that mutch... So due to this bad (and also first) experience im worried that something's wrong with my growing gear....Looks ok to me for 36 days of 12/12.
Generally you have to allow for the stretch period as the plants transition from veg to flower.
This can add up to 2 weeks into your flowering schedule.
Expect a 9 week flowering strain to need around 10-11 weeks of 12/12 depending upon veg time, training, temperatures, feeding regime etc etc.
They plump up more later on down the road as they begin to swell.

Hey.. Its that a friend of mine already finished his first grow and he said his buds were bigger at this stage ... he was growing a white widow .... those on the pics are mataro blue... That's why im worried so much.. even checked on youtube and saw grows at 35 days of flowering lookin biggerUnless you have a valid reason to believe they should be bigger, which based on your experience, you don't, then stop over thinking it. It seems to be a common issue with new growers, thinking there buds should be bigger than they are, and so starting to needlessly change thing thinking it's the culprit, and often creating more problems in the process. a typical one being increasing feed or adding in a plethora of bloom boosters they are not experienced with.
I defoliated them (cut 80%) of fan leaves , veged them for 2 months and toped the main colas once and also topped some side colas... have temps arround 27-29C feeding them with Atami bloom c, Atami bloom booster, Bioroots.. feeding them with nutes 3x than dooin 2x flush.. i water every 2nd day..Looks ok to me for 36 days of 12/12.

Yeah i know thats not so good bud i was reading blogs and stuff on net and actualy found some readings where people claim that defoliating like i did allows more light to penetrate in the canopy so u can get a better yield ... So that worries me pretty much... Maybe do you know how much can such invasive defoliation decrease yield?I think that cutting off 80% of fan leaves is a stupid thing to do. The leaves are there for a reason. Trimming is one thing, but that is mutilation, not trimming.
and it is perfectly common for 2 plants of the same strain from the same packet of seeds to have vastly different bud sizes. Let alone two different strains. So long as you base the success of your grow to other peoples grows, you will never be happy. From ym time on this forum, there will always be someone saying you can be doing better, or with a better yield than you. Focus on your plants, not someone elses.
I defoliated em the 1st week of floweringThat is slightly different then. after those two months, the plants will have mended itself and gotten back to where it needs to be. I can condone that. But not people who start removing handfulls of fan leaves during flowering for whatever reaon.
night temps are 18-20C humiditi is 45% as it should beyour temps are a little on the high side. slightly, not dangerously. what are your night time temps? humidity?

Yeah... I actually do that... because it is the last grow i can do before summer and i need alot of smoke... But i promised my self not to cut any fan leaves in my life any moreIt could increase, decrease, do nothing.
I will always advise new growers not to mess around doing anything. Unless you have a number of grows under your belt, then should you start topping, defoliating, using bloom boosters, whatever, you'll never have the experience under your belt to compare the new methods against and you'll never know if it was worth the time, effort, and often money. New growers ought to learn how to just grow plants properly, and then look into methods of increasing yields.
again ??
yes.. and i measure temperature at the top of main colaSo. do u still have ur light 45 cm above tge plant?? That's really close if u don't have it on a mover.
