letting half our country devolve into stupidity even more crippling than what they already face is a win for no one. his ideas on education that you just presented are 100% republican playbook. vouchers and let states teach what they want, no uniform standards.

say what you want about obama, his race to the top program was a massive success.
And yet Johnson veto'd just as many Republican bills as he did bills from others as Governor.

I don't get the attachment to Obama, he has some good ideas...but his execution is extremely poor/non-existent.

He doesn't even just kick the can, he just hits it around with his golf club.

And seriously, the NSA thing is seriously fucking creepy.

In that case Obama is simply a black Republican (seems oxymoronic, but whatever), nothing else.

I don't think about it either. Though that spy guy, Snowden, had a podcast that was fairly interesting.

A Cheshire Bunny......innnnnnnn-teresting.

But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

They call me Bunny

oh yeah.

i forgot to add that to bush's body count.

how many thousands died in katrina due to his massive bungling of that one (or, as he might say, good job brownie)?
So you're really one of those people that think that local and state government entities fucking everything up leading up to landfall of Katrina are some how bush's fault?

Never before had storm clean up been something that the president dealt with. it was something democrats could get up and point at, so they pointed at it.

Bill Clinton didn't do much when hurrican Andrew, an equally bad storm, hit. There were earthquakes during other administrations that presidents didn't do much for.

Show me some historical precedence that backs up your claim that hurricane damage is a major presidential responsibility.

that would be great for mississippi, they would start teaching creationism and that the south won the civil war.
I live in the south so I am more qualified to speak on this than you.

If you left it up to county level, some would decide to teach creationism.

If you left it up to the states on that level, creationism would be mentioned as something many believe, but current mainstream science would be the standard.

As to the civil war, we would just teach the truth, the north started it, and proceeded to rape, burn and plunder the south.

Well, that is not true. Oh I know my Grandma called it the War or Northern Aggression. But, I am deeply versed in the facts, sur.

I'm only 15 minutes in, but the other gentleman is bringing up a lot of interesting qualitative points about cyber-security and the illusion.

Why do people use the low bar set by baby Bush to try and excuse the fact Obama has his own issues? It's deflection. Own it, that's what Bush did, he carried his mistakes proudly.

That said, the south lost and the winner writes history.
