The business offer

If you're talking about working and becoming a productive and contributing citizen instead if a parasite, I'd love to see you get started.

anytime you want to match that monthly frequency pay stub of yours to my bi-weekly stub i'm down..I won't be the one looking an asshat..

in any case, this chain e-mail fro uncle ben has inspired me. now i understand the persecution he faces every day of his life.

how he ever managed to accumulate a toyota tundra with a large glove box is beyond me.

Schuylarr, my foreman makes more than you, don't be a fool, plus I pay for his medical.
Now, who pays for yours?

Being the son of a man who owned his own business for 30 years, I know that there are taxes you don't even know exists when you run a business. By the time state, local, and federal are added up, it is over half of your profits. That is bullshit.

We spent so much time just paying taxes. We have to send in payroll taxes every two weeks, there is a large form to fill out.

We have to pay monthly taxes to several different places, each with it's own form and different place.

When I went to law school, I quit working for my dad. My dads partner decided to fire the CPA I had hired to help with all of this. He could do it himself, he said.

Well, he fucked up and after about 2 years we ended up owing the IRS about $80k. You'd think you could just send in a check and all would be well. Nope.

The IRS gave us two options. Close the shop and pay the $80k, or if you want to keep the doors open, it was close to $400k.

My dad and his partner were both getting old, they decided to close the shop.

The IRS, in a down economy, forced the closure of a successful business, which caused nearly 20 people to lose good paying jobs. Our lowest paid employee was $12/hr I think, and we had a guy that got over $30/hr.

That's our government at work.

That is sad.
Did your Dad look into any of those tax firms that advertise settlements with the IRS?

It will be interesting to see how the IRS handles being in charge of collecting on the ACA, ObamaCare

or you could have have kept the CPA and wouldn't have had this issue..i just love those who "try" to do their own taxes, payroll etc;..if i were still at kushy fortune 500, this post would have been printed, laminated and in my "book of shame" to show others why they need to hire a professional:wall:

EDIT: and i'm pretty sure that $400k was payroll tax dollars..amiright?..which the IRS abhors..one thing to fuck around with corporate tax..just don't fuck around with payroll tax..IT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU..not the EE portion or the ER portion..that's where employers make their BIG mistake..at least one of them..

why don't these republican crybabies try setting up shop in somalia, where taxes are low? or are they just addicted to whining and complaining?

i mean, it shouldn't be that bad to set up shop in a place with little to no infrastructure, rampant warlords, and the like. right?

can you even get chain emails in somalia?
