Nice, I can see the sativa in the long bud structure.
Sativas like that give me anxiety really bad, but for some reason when it fades, I miss it for some reason lol

Great stuff guys.
Smell and flavor was to very desireable to me. I bet JD would love it too

I was going to ask about that. :0) It looks delicious!

Sannies eh? So many nice beans to try. I will give them a scan too.

Thanks for taking the time.

I am a bit freaked out by their lankiness and long flowering time.

I am trying some, but have a better feel for indicas and hybrids, so far.

Thanks for sharing.

Me too, and I topped all mine, except for the Mango Haze, but I think might not be the real deal

Thats the thing about phenos. Unless its a really stable strain you might run through some seeds before you get "the pheno" that really represents the strain.

Right.

I am hoping for the "Lemon Pledge" pheno of Psycho Killer.

I am on bean #2 and got a male the first time.

We will see.

Hello all,

I took some photos of the Veg experiments this morning.

The Purple Wreck is still just that, a Purple Wreck :0)

But it is doing better and better. It is greening up nicely on
the lower main trunk and branches, though not as much higher
up. New growth is green, healthy, and appears to be proceeding.

Purple Wreck.jpg

The Psycho Killer (second try for a female), next to it, is doing much better in it's hempy, though
it has not had as rocky a road as its appearance might suggest. It was hit with preventative sprays
on several occasions when it was young and has some tatty leaves.

The HSO Bubba Kush and Sensi Kush #1 are really strong, and will likely go into the
flowering tent next:
Bubba Kush and Sensi Skunk #1.jpg

The Green Crack already has eight tops and will likely stay with that number:
Green Crack.jpg
It is going to get two months to make roots.

The Holy Grail Kush was a very stinky slow grower for me, and I ignored it until
I ended up with a too-tall plant.

I chopped it down hard, let it recover, tied it down, and look to have a plant that
is going to really yield after is has had months and months to make roots:

I found Trainwreck to be really poley and fast, and so I decided to take it
around the rim of its bucket. I will take the first branches straight across the
top as well. I did this with the Somango last time and that did fine.

The TGA Apollo 13 Backcross is really beautiful!

The new sprouts are all up and will be transplanted in a few days:

(Ace's Purple Haze, Ace's Panama, TGA Plushberry, Dinafem Cheese and G13 Purple Haze)

On the Veg Table, we have the new ladies:

The Blue Pit, clones take:

Jilly Bean, being mainlined, though I would liked to have been able to bury
her a bit deeper....she just got big. :0)

Here is a GSC bud I am enjoying:

I got some freebie Super Silver Haze with my second ever seed order. I was in the habit of over vegging my plants at that time and put the SSH in a little late. I ended up wrapping the branches of that hooker around the container rim 2-3 times, stripped the underfoliage and I shit you not she still grew 6' tall lol. I had to dump her, just couldn't control it. I gave the other vegger to a friend doing a summer greenhouse run and HOLY SHIT! That thing got about 14' tall. I cropped the piss out of it when we planted it too as I warned him. It took up a massive area in his greenhouse, the plant could just not be stopped or controlled. Demon Silver Haze. He also ended up having to chop it due to lack of control and excessive space requirements. Stretch on her was like 1000% LOL.

Whenever I run a Sativa for the first time I like to take the top off her, clone her and go right to flower while I let the mum veg to maturity. Based on the progress/results of the clone I can decide what to do with mum and receive some insight on appropriate veg times.

JD all my clones are looking like your Purple Wreck, and yer Green Crack right now.

I was over-feeding them and ph was too high.

Hopefully that is all resolved now though.
Ill know in the next few days.

Shwagbag my only experience with SSH was an accident (again wrong strain).
It was supposed to be Gods Gift.

I knew something was wrong when it was taller than even my tallest hybrids and damn was she skinny!
The smoke was intense and too much for me, but the other person I grow for loved it, and its their all time fav still.

Why do you keep getting "fake" strains????..............lol

be safe growers
Stoners mix up labels, and Craigslist of just full of scammers I guess.
Thats the thing about phenos. Unless its a really stable strain you might run through some seeds before you get "the pheno" that really represents the strain.
Problem is most of the fakes I get are suppose to be clone only ones, so should just one pheno

Thank you all for taking the time!

I was away watching (American) Football.

You are all on-the-money.

My SLH *leaped* up. LOL, I hacked it so freaking hard that the
original plant is a stump that might be losing the fight (I need to
let it dry out). I have clones that I will restart with.

Your technique of going straight to flower with a seedling, once clones
have been taken is a great idea for these sorts of breeds Shwag.

...and, yes, SS, I am going to need to figure a lot out before I run
the Oldtimer's Haze!

I did pop the Purple Haze from Ace, and the G13 Haze so I will get
a chance to try a few things out. (I will share how it goes, but thanks
for the good word TC)

I can say this: when I get it right it is nice. I think that the way (size,
structure, etc) both Blue Dream and Lemon Thai Kush came out is
pretty much perfect for my tent, and Sour Kosher looks to do just as well,
with maybe even less larf.

Take care all!

Doesn't SSH take like 137 days in flower too? Lol forget DAT sheeeeit right?
I only ran my clone like 10 weeks or so lol

EDIT
I have switched to the K.I.S.S method/formula

I am using Maxibloom only in my hempys.

I have tap water that raises ph it seems after sitting out.
My 5 gal of mixed nutes was in the orange or 5ph range when mixed, the leftover the next day (today) is up to light green 6.5ish ph now

I think mine lasted maybe 4 weeks before I tossed it lol. Fkeeeng HUGE lol.

I've found that water temp can effect PH as well. First time I figured that out it was an eye opener lol.

Well, the only reason I should fail will be bugs if I do this right.

Trying to keep a tent bug free for the three or four months that
some of these breeds can take (Old Timers even longer) is going
to be difficult to guarantee.

I am going to want to get my pepper spray concocted before the
heat starts. I think that it has been easier to control bugs during
the cooler months for me, here in So Cali.

Even though I kinda crisped a few plants with it, I will use Kapow
again. It is harmless if rinsed off properly, and it smell wonderful.

Onward and upward,

That Haze is gonna be fcking beautiful I think. I've wanted to do another pure sativa for awhile inspite of it not being ideal for my setup.... I started 3 last year, can't remember now what they were but they were I think 90%ers. One had a germ issue, the other 2 were boys :(. I've got some sativa dom stuff but nothing along those lines. I do love my Cindy still though, and can't wait to try out my cross from her.

How was the yield on your lemon thai kush, it will be one of my next new strains I harvest its starting to bud up now? I've got some really dank plants in my garden right now, but I want to get a better yielder into the mix again like my White widow was. That being said I've got 2 WW plants going again :). I know I can coax more out of the others I have to, my humidity has been too low I think lately, but I also know what I have aren't heavy yielders.
