In my opinion for all those strains these are the names to try:

serious seeds ak47, sensi seeds skunk #1 (super skunk is a great one to) also sensi seeds has a VERY good genetics for their northern lights, DJ short blueberry.

I to have tried purple ak47 and ran that with great success commerically. Was a great strain and I would love to get that one back

Thanx for the input bro!

Have you ever tried Peak Seeds versions of NL, BB, or their mix of the 2?

I just tried a nug from the Mango Haze taken at 8 weeks 2 days, and the high is not really that of a haze, in fact it puts you to sleep...
I am very disappointed, as this was going to be my sativa this run esp since the Skunky Monkeys turned out to males!!

I am sure that Sensi's Skunk #1 is as "the one" as any.

I am reading up on it's stretch and find people saying 50% to 350%

It is largely Indica, and so I think that I will let it Veg and put
Trainwreck #1 into the tent when the Somango comes out.

After that we will be waiting for something else to finish. This is
likely to be Blue Dream then Chemdog then Thai Lemon Kush.

I have never smoked NL Pap. I will see if I have one.

Take care,

JD

many strains these days are offspring of those strains i listed. I did some NL x skunk outdoor and no joke it was at least 5x better then any GSC phenotype I have tried, even the harborside cuttings.

Somango is taken!

It got to just short of ten full weeks, and had a couple of months of
Veg time. I am happy with the result.

Check it out: when I compare the results of a 3 X 3 array of 5 gallon hempys
against my 36 2-gallon smart pot 6 X 6 array, then I figure that each of
the hempys needs to grow as much bud as four of the SOG donkey dicks.

I am pretty sure that this plant easily reached that weight. The SOG elements
got much less Veg time, so this is a factor for some.

Whoops....photos to follow. I was a very active farmer this morning.

Once again, my concept of yield is limited.

I am so far ahead of my needs that I may do Old Timers Haze,
just to watch something grow for six months. LOL

Here we go:

Here is the crazy truck. Recall that I knew that I was going to have
a lot of Veg time, and so I wound the trunk around the bucket.

Here is the harvest, hanging. I cannot make it pitch black, but it is
much dimmer looking to the right of the closet, and the humidity and
fresh air exchanges are handled by the passive smell control (ducting
makes the Veg closet an intake for the tent).

This shot required the flash.

The GSC is getting closer to jar-able. It is out of the frame of the
photo above, to the right.

Take care all,

I agree with this^^^ ak47/nl#1 &#5 are top dogs.................sensi seeds got neville's stock(who got it from the original indian) when they took over so it should be one of the best source for NL seeds.

Serious seeds ak47 comes from the original NL 1 and/or 5 stock if I remember correctly.......owner worked at sensi? before

Yeah I've heard from multiple guys that peak stuff is legit nl...........never tried them though:(

Supposedly we all have smoked some NL in the 80s or 90s even if we didnt know what it was.
Northern lights/ Skunk/ Haze==== are at the base of almost ALL modern cannabis strains

NL outdoors becomes a beast!!! It's vigor indoors is impressive as well, still one of the best strains IMO. Was tested @ 36% THC once by dr. hornby in canada, which is unheard of.

NL was dropped from competition to allow other strains to win..... fucking afghani bitch can beat most of these "boutique" strains out now easily.

JAVA nice girls and great harvest bro!!!!!!!!!............btw why is their all this blue dream hate in here?? one of the best producers for me over and over in my profit days along with PE.

sorry for all the !!!!!!! too much coffee ........

I certainly do not hate the Blue Dream.

Of all the various breeds of this recent cycle, the BD had the strongest
structure and growth. The HSO Lemon Thai Kush did better later, but
the BD is finishing first and should be lovely.

The BD will be the next out.

I just cannot tell which of LTK or Chemdog will be done next after that,
as neither is showing a single red hair, and they are both in the middle
of week #8 already, and look to go a full 10 weeks at least.

The next two into the tent will be Skunk #1 and then either the Apollo 13 BX
from TGA or Bubba Kush. We will see.

Take care,

JD

This is three days ago, but my Blue Dream is wonderful:

The only thing that remains to be seen, or that is tasted, is the smoke.

Looking amazing JD!

I dont hate blue dream, in fact REAL blue dream is a great strain. The problem is, EVERY person with clones says they have blue dream...its one of those strains that got a lot of hype so theres a lot of imposters and a lot of really crappy cuts going around labeled blue dream. Every clone ad seems to have GSC/Cherry pie/blue dream/ og kush. that was more my point.

I had a clone from Oaksterdam in 2010, but I gave it away since I didnt like sativas then.
I never tried it, but I am tired of only indicas now.

JD that BD looks really healthy and happy !!

Thanks Pap. LOL, that was what it was....I kinda got confused.
Yeah, it is the "clone onlys" that one never knows until they grow
out the plant in question.

Thanks Bass, the BD is the next out, but I will let it mature...the Vegging
plants that really needed to be flowered are now in the tent, and I am
free to let the BD ripen.

LOL, neither the KTK nor the Chemdog are showing as much as a single
red anther. Nowhere near ready.

FWIW, I *love* indicas, but admit that sativas are sufficiently different in
their growth patterns that I also need to figure them out still. I look forward
to doing this.

BTW: All five new beans are out of the peat. :0)

This includes two very interesting breeds from Ace seeds, Panama and
Purple Haze, along with Somas NYC Diesel, G13 Purple Haze, Dinafem's
Cheese, and my last Plushberry bean.

Have a great day all.

Hello,

I used my pull-ups to lower the Veg lights, and made a reflector
(pizza box + foil ;0). The drying buds get much less light and the
babies much more.

Here is a tester nug from the GSC:

What are you ph'ing your hempys at?

Bass, I am not.

When I finally got around to trying to use my BL pen, it
had already dried up and died. Fucking thing. I did load the
cap, but had left it too long.

The Purple Wreck likely either wants an up or a down, but
I am not sure which.

It has been greening up from just a lighter diet. We will see.

BTW: I took three clones from it today. This was good news.
