can i over fert my plants with Azos? like too much N? i have 3 plants that gave me the claw bad and went all light green and kinda stretchy on me right after i dosed everyone with azos. the rest all handled it like champs and are stacking away but these couple didn't like it for some reason...

all different seeds so I'm assuming its just a few more sensitive phenos? did they all happen to get a giant clump of worm poo maybe and its got nothing to do with azos? another reason for light green clawing?
Sounds like over-watering combined with low soil temps to me.

Wolverine-brother! Very nice of you to stop in and say hi. I'd blaze if we could. I will anyway.

How have you been?

I use the same dirt for veg and flower, to much hassle for me to worry about having two different mixes.

Please don't take this the wrong way... everything is a learning curve. Or maybe a comfort curve is a better term. Takes a while o get comfortable with something. This is no different. I would be embarrassed to tell you what I used to do with soil.

I found it compelling and helpful to remember that you have billions upon billions of helpers in the soil and on the plant. They're in charge and we're just watching.

I've really taken a minimalist approach to most things. Just ask my wife.

quite possible, they are on the basement floor and my furnace was out for 4 days right as it started now that i think of it. they are only in 1 or 2 gallon bags and dry out in a day so idk about over watering but the soil temps for sure is a possibility

ya I'm definitely not going to transplant, just feed tea and top dress with minerals if need be.

thats what i want for sure, i got too much other stuff to do.

quick question, what PH water should i use? mine comes out of the RO at almost 9 for some reason and just a drop or 2 of down will get it into the 7 territory. is this correct?

I use a tbsp of molasses per gal every week or two. Topdress with fresh soil pretty often. Up-pot as needed. Never messed around with the teas much. couple handfuls of fresh compost if I have it. Mulch is one thing I think I overlooked. really anything to shade the soil surface seems to speed up fungi growth and encourage predators. think natural..nature

I havent used a ph stick in years. Also sounds to me you should go to a bigger pot 5 gal minimum I would say.

i will when i dial in which pheno I'm gonna run but this is just a quick seed run to find a winner. they are all barely knee high and going into bloom already.

so yo guys are telling me i could water with near PH 9.0 water and be ok? that seems like it would have an adverse effect on your microbe life. just cause they can survive and readjust PH doesn't mean they wouldnt like it in an optimal range?

9 is pretty high, but if your soil is well inoculated and you have a rock solid source of humus in your mix then that will buffer the ph just fine.

That is high. My concern would be long term mineral buildup from the hard water in a ROLS setup . I use RO water through blumat drippers

If you have well water try letting it run for 5-10 min. then check it. Mine lowers its self some by letting it run.

im rocking city water through a stealth RO system, i was pretty blown away at the 9 reading. it comes out right around 7 before it goes through the RO system. my city water is working so perfectly for my hydro tables right now and I'm not even using RO for them but the RO is a serious pain. it PH's so fast. like 3-4 drops will take a 9 down to a 7.2ish in a 30 gallon rez.

I would try using it at 9 and see what happens. Im guessing u wont have any problems seeing how it only takes a few to balance 30 gal.

With the smaller pots you can also water the from the bottom, I started doing this recently and have had better water retension.

Some nites are a real biznatch if I have to adjust the ro water. Gotta go a drop at a time some nites. Then the only bottle of ph down I have right now is advanced nutes. That shit will plummet ph with just a drop.
