Zip's CFL Stealth Cab Scrog

Been reading up a lot on growing mushrooms, might have to give it try since I can't find Lucy anywhere and all the fungi I gget is bunk
If you are looking at growing psilocybin cubensis then try tai-koi samui. I grew them in mono tubs and also in cakes and they were excellent. The grew fast and had large harvests. Also they are fun. They grow so fast and it is great to see them. Also they are pretty cheap. I did this at the same time that I was doing my first herb grow so I was never bored. I had plenty of documenting to do but it was very rewarding as you can see.

Confirmed one female today :) Dorothy. Is it unusual for preflowers to show so soon? My last grow showed pretty early as well.

Transplanted my ladies after renaming them all after the Powerpuff Girls: Blosson, Bubbles, & Buttercup :)
found some leftover tile to put over the holes in the floor of the cab to get them up closer to the light until its time to move them down and out the screen in.

Cmmon guys, this deserves some rep right?!

Woke up this morning to a grinding noise coming out of the cab. Somehow the carbon filter had moved enough that an edge of it was getting struck by the exhaust fan making a terrible noise. The filter was in need of a cleaning (little dusty) so I just took off the top of the cab and completely removed the filter to blow it out and then reinstall. Once I finished I snapped this picture to give you guys an ariel view of the inside of the cab :)

Stay tuned for pictures of the girls either tonight or tomorrow.........

DAY 38, 5 Weeks Old

As promised here are pictures of the girls.

Blossom is doing great, with nice fat leaves that like to droop a lot when she's thirsty. Her preflowers are very noticeable.

Buttercup is the best looking girl out of the bunch at this point, perky as hell with TONS of preflowers on her. She grows like a weed ;)

Last but not least we have little Bubbles. She's always been a slow grower and was near death when I transplanted her. All her lower leaves browned and dies off so she looks very petite compared to the others. She will not reach the screen anywhere near the same time as her sisters so I am wondering what route I should take with her.

in about a week probably I will have to put the pots into their floor holes and put the screen back in. Buttercup is the tallest but still has an inch or two before she would be touching the screen, so I will leave them on the linoleum for another week or so to stay nice and near the lights.

lemme know what you guys think!!! I cannot believe how many preflowers there are on them already at five weeks!!

How long are you planning on vegging them? I am just wondering cause I have three that are in their seedling stage right now and was curious if you had a planned time that you were going to change them to flowering.
IMG_0342[1].jpgthis one is cinderella its a feminized C99 plant from femseeds
IMG_0343[1].jpgthis one is snow white and is White Widow Feminized from Green House seeds
IMG_0344[1].jpgThis one is Belle and is Liberty Haze feminized from Barney's farm
The C99 is about a week ahead of the other two because the first batch of seeds only had that one took. I am growing in a closet under 400 watt metal halide for vegging and then switching to hps for flowering. Using fox farm nutes with fox farm soil.

Love the names man! Girls in my last grow were Belle (male), Alice (died), Tiana, and Areil. My wife is a huge Disney fan.
as for flowering, I hope to switch them within a couple more weeks as they grow up to, and threw my screen. Still have about another inch or so before they reach the bottom though

Got bored last night and decided to throw the screen back into the cab. I've got Bubbles sitting high so she can get the most light possible to try and revive herself. Just another inch or so and they'll be at the bottom of the gate :)

Got it at the same garage sale as the cab, fits 100% perfectly!!! I think it will do nicely, although come harvest time it may prove to be a pain...

i really cant wait to see these growing through the screen hope ya little one catches up!
this set up is something i hope to replicate soon enough!!!!

your going to have to LSt them soon man, start tying the top down to the pot and keep doing that while the side branches reach up and fill that screen

Really? I thought you were supposed to let them grow threw the screen some first, and then bend them under the screen?
although what you're saying makes more sense....

Then just remove the ties once the branches have all grown through the screen right?
