good to see new ideas, but to me a big risk to take/
just get a filter and your mind will be at ease,only takes rippers to smell or if ya doing this on the edge like most are then is it worth it
The filter was a failure. It maybe would have worked before I upgraded fans, but not with the current higher CFM fan. I even completely opened the ends like others suggested. It still lugged the new fan down too much.
My "proper" filter came in, and it cleaned up my "sour" smell in about 2 hours. It was getting bad enough that I could smell it when I opened the front door to my house (grow is in the basement). Who would have thunk it?
