hot italian sausage on a grilled bun with sauteed peppers, mushrooms, onions, and provolone for a hot sandwich. the veggies must be cut small enough to be able to make a dense pile, but not so small they lack texture when cooked.

i'm not big on the typical condiments for cold sandwiches, so for cold i just go for a ham and swiss with raw red onions and stoneground mustard, and peppered bacon if available. inglehoffer's stoneground mustard is great in excess. if possible, i prefer my cold sandwiches on round sesame buns that are lightly toasted. the meat must not protrude from the edges. it must be folded and/or cut so that it fits appropriately on the bread, and the sandwich must be uniform in thickness throughout. there is a certain ratio of cheese:meat that must be upheld. i cannot mathematically express it but i know it when i see/eat it.

But a ruben has saurkraut on it that one has coleslaw and a ruben is corned beef not pastrami, I think. Also my #19 has russian style dressing not thousand island.

I saw a show last night where the place was making roast beef sandwiches. I haven't had one in a while, and it made me want one so that's what I'm getting for lunch today.

One of my favorites is grilled cheese with tomato and bacon.

  • KFC Double Down is my favorite.

WHAT IN THE FUCK?! DOES THIS STILL EXIST??YOU BEAT MINE..

I always make a panini with this press and its normally this BOMB home maid mac n cheese with salami, pepperoni, sometimes I add this sliced spicey chicked breast shit, with some cheese(I like the mexican mixed kind), with garlic salt, onion powder, oregano, and crushed red pepper on the cheese so it melts in.. Then press.. And BAM! Its pretty time consuming though I have like a tolerance now so sometimes I have to cook two.

Oh also sometimes I make it breakfast style with bacon and eggs, ya know.. Just to be traditional

Hey Bear,

These sandwiches look delicious. I bet I can modify these with my own cheese and meat recipes.

Make both versions of those which look good and give me a verdict.
That looks very nicely done, however it runs into my downright autistic pickiness about food. Ingredients in there that are a dealbreaker for me are maple, pecan, apple, paprika.

But a ruben has saurkraut on it that one has coleslaw and a ruben is corned beef not pastrami, I think. Also my #19 has russian style dressing not thousand island.
You are correct, of course, but I think the similarities are enough to float what i felt was not a bad pun. cn
