...I thought we were talking about Palin, who gives a flying fuck about the seat in Mass.?

Get back on topic and stop trying to change the subject.

I'm not wasting my time with this, half of it we've already been over and none of you give a damn anyway. You just care about your view and that's it.

The most significant development regarding Palin is simply that her popularity is on the ascendency whereas her political opposite (Obama) is in steep decline.
My hunch is that the study in contrast between these two polar opposites is actually working as a recruiting tool for the rejuvenated conservative movement. Many voters who have not paid too much attention to politics are having "eureka" moments of clarity upon the realization that they are not very happy with the direction the current administration has set sail for...and that they have a deeply ingrained proclivity for right wing political ideas.
Obama has become a recruiter for Conservatives. As evidence of this development I submit to you the recent turn around in Mass...The Conservative looks like he will actually win Teddy's seat...blasphemy in the bluest of blue states.

Here is a list of reasons why people are having these eureka moments when they realize the following:

I am against the federal redistribution of wealth.

I am against entitlement politics.

I am against American czars.

I am against apology tours that denigrate the greatness of our country.

I am against tax-and-spend politics.

I am against government takeovers.

I am against amnesty citizenship for those who have entered our country illegally.

I am against the out-of-control printing of money.

I am against legislation designed to do away with free speech (Fairness Doctrine).

I am against big government.

I am against trillion-dollar government stimulus package slush funds.

I am against treating our allies like enemies and our enemies like friends.

I am against politicians who do not let us drill for oil.

I am against politicians who look the other way while Iran and North Korea develop nuclear weapons.

I am against government-run health care.

I am against health care bills that provide abortion funding.

I am against backroom deals by politicians that circumvent transparency and the Constitution.

I am against trillion-dollar deficits.

I am against high taxes.

I am against treating all people to the identical security scrutiny in airports.

I am against bills that provide special exemptions for legislators.

I am against bills that provide special privileges to certain states.

I am against those who would stifle an honest global warming debate.

I am against the federal funding of corrupt organizations like ACORN.

I am against "Miranda rights" for foreign terrorists.

I am against confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed getting a civilian trial in NY.

I am against cap-and-trade legislation and taxing carbon footprints.

I am against the closing of GITMO and the bringing of terrorists to American soil.

I am against letting the U.N. tell us how to live.

I am against a president who does not believe in American exceptionalism.

Should I go on? Is thirty enough? The list need not end.

As Americans watch how -- idea by idea and bill by bill -- Barack Obama and the Democrats are dismantling our nation through their radical liberal left agenda, more and more are realizing:

Not only am I against what Barack Obama is doing to this country, but I stand for the opposite of what he, Pelosi, and Reid stand for.

This is the point in time that these Americans start investigating the opposite of liberalism. They start formulating their own list of what they stand for:

I am for low taxes.

I am for small government.

I am for a free-market system.

I am for the Constitution.

I am for the Separation of Powers.

I am for fiscal responsibility.

I am for government accountability.

I am for supporting our allies and confronting the tyrants of the world.

I am for states' rights.

I am for a strong military.

Should I go on? This list need not end either.

Wow now this is entertainment...Obama has not even been in office for a full year
He is a consrvative's dream...(maybe)!!!
:leaf:
Excellent post! Poor libs see the ground coming up fast!

Like I said, liberals project. So of course the other side lies out their ass, too.

And quite a few assumed R's are actually solid D's. This doesn't mean that the Republican party is liberal, it means politicians are human. Some humans are liars, cheats, and opportunists; liberal. That doesn't mean that the Republican party is not the home of the conservative movement, it is. We just need to kick out the imposters, or let them defect on their own, like the Spectre.

Then government will shrink, along with your entitlement, and the Constitution will again be the law of the land.
Name some names, make a list. Who are these "imposter Republicans" tainting the good name of the conservative party?

I don't think there is anything that exemplifies the dumbing down of our political discourse quite the way that the sarah phenomenon does. Except maybe
you, Illegal...:bigjoint:

Yeah, you can say that here. But you can't find anyone in the liberal blogs or media who has been expressing that. They're all ranting and raving and pounding their fists. Not happy campers. I say you're all scared
lol yeah, but that is what seperates us from you republicans, we could care less what they say because we know they are full of hot air. I could see how you could make the mistake of projection though.

They taint the name of the Republican party, not the conservative movement.

Collins. Snow. Graham. Powell. Warner. Chafee. Crist. Terminator. Luger. Bennet. Cochran. Murkowski. McCain. Voinovich. Shays. Bono. Johnson. Castle. Simmons. etc.

Oh who is running on the conservative party ticket for president in 12?
This is a joke, how many pages is this so far? 15 pages and there isn't a single thing you guys can put to support Palin besides a list of general ideas. All of America agrees with over half of those ideas, and there just talking points like what was said before.

If it's a joke, it has been so since its inception. Just like all the other "I'm not scared of Palin!" anti-Palin Palin hating threads.

This feels like I am arguing with my 4 year old nephew. You guys have yet to say anything substantial, show any evidence or given us reason not to hate her.

Just because Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly decided everyone who doens't agree with them and Palin are afraid of her. Doesn't mean you need to agree with them. Come on. You have a brain don't you? Use it, come up with some logical statements to support Palin, not just bullshit you heard last night on Fox news.

I`ll be back in 2012 after Obama gets re-eleced, and your still crying about we are afraid of Palin the boogey woman.

"Given us reason not to hate her"? You're a fervent bigot. What reason could I give you to change your psychosis? "Please, don't be a fervent bigot"?

You seem to be operating under the misconception that anyone here cares what you think. This has not been a discussion about you liberals in this forum. You aren't worth trying to persuade of anything. What are you? Six votes? Surely you don't think anyone lacks the internet forum savvy to detect the old "make 'em dance around in circles trying to prove what can't be proven" gambit.

OF COURSE you think Palin is an idiot and no threat and Obama will be re-elected and the economy is getting better a-and .... on and on. Of course you do. I think it's cute!

Ok buddy, in case you didn't know. Obama was elected just over a year ago as a Democrat. We are pretty much the majority. If you were to bring a real politician to the table. Say Ron Paul I would vote republican. Because I believe in his views on trade and govt. But you guys won't, you had a chance last election and Ron Paul was shunned away by the likes of O'Reily.

This whole discussion was start because a group of people did not think Sarah Palin was fit for being an analyst. You guys are claiming she is. Yet cannot provide any evidence to the contrary. It could be anything. A statement she has giving telling her plans on the US economy. An interview where she gives us a... just a reason to put any faith in her. I`m not fucking democratic tool, what you seem to think everyone who disagrees with you is. I will choose what I think is best for my family, my self and my country in that order. And I believe 100% that Palin is the exact opposite of anythign I want.

Her whole political standing has been a joke, it's proven, as we showed you. That she has no knowledge on current affairs, past affairs, US affairs, foreign affairs. She knows the bible and guns. And I`m pretty the founders of America left Engand to get away from all the relgion bullshit. And that is what she is bringing to the table.

Bring me a real arguement as why you believe so much in her and try to persuade me to change sides. Saying we're afraid of Palin is bullshit arguement.

You actually believe it was to get away from religion rather than to be free to pursue it, don't you?

Detail of Edgar Parker's Embarkation of the Pilgrims
