If you don't mind, explain to me how this logic works. I've explained to you my issue with it - namely that the amount of people who view a program says nothing about the content said program provides, only that said program can woo an audience better than other programs - which I don't disagree with. Fox has some hot bitches, and some smart people that don't mind playing dumb on the air so as to give the impression that they're more "connected" with their audience, not to mention the amount of emotion a lot of their commentators display. Shame? Nah, fuck shame, none of those guys know the feeling of shame or guilt, they just know they get a paycheck every week so they keep up the act.

Also, I think it would be pretty obvious the easier the information is for the "average American" to digest, the more people would flock to it. Do you need me to pull up the FNC demographics, then correlate those with the demographics of educated people within the United States, or is my point already made pretty clearly?

In general dummies do not watch any news on tv.
They do not read newspapers (with the possible exception of the sports section). I have a hunch that youtube viewers skew to the younger demographic bracket.

News consumers are an entirely different type of consumer.
Fox has achieved unparalleled success in providing viewers with an alternative to the predominately left leaning older news networks. We have seen a true grass roots groundswell movement in politics beginning shortly after the election of Obama. I would assert that it is the convergence of these elements as the targets of ridicule and scorn from the left, i.e.,tea partiers and town hall attendees combined with a certain type of fox viewer, these folks have been energized and motivated by the constant shrill carping about how all of them are simply uneducated ill informed voters. Yokels and redneck racist are common dismissals. Well the collective derision aimed at these voters (combined with Obamas misguided policies) is largely the reason Obamacare is now DOA!
Not one left wing pundit or prognosticator saw this tsunami of repudiation heading for the now flailing and sputtering Obama administration.

Who are the true dummies?

Not to generalize, but the data points to less educated people being the target audience demographic for FNC. That's not to say there aren't smart people who watch it too, just that there are more dumb ones who watch Fox than any other station.

We can speculate on the reasons as to why that is all day long.

Can you honestly say with a straight face that the average Fox viewer isn't a stereotype in and of themselves?

I bet I could tell you a dozen different things about a person if the only thing I knew about them is that they watch FNC daily.

There are retards all across the board, from the left to the right, FNC deliberately delivers false information to millions of people (documented on dozens of different occasions).

I will gladly take a Republican if I agree with them on enough key issues. But another hard right Christian social conservative (ex: Bush, Palin) I will be more than happy to risk the Democrat.
