Why are all these gravy seals such emotional basket cases and almost all republican affiliated? Mental illness and character flaws seem to go with being a magat in particular and a republican in general. One only needs to look at the video of the capitol on J6 to see this, it looked like they emptied the contents of a mental hospital on the front steps of the capitol FFS.

As always, another day brings another mass shooting.

I don't know about anyone else but this isn't even news to me anymore. It's become just another daily event. And as callous as it might seem I just shrug and go on about my day and don't even think about it.

It's always the same. The same people going on and on about the 2nd Amendment, it's not the gun it's the person, blah, blah, blah. Laws don't prevent the criminals from having guns, blah blah blah. They're too ignorant to understand that it's not the criminals doing these mass shootings. It's almost always people that have no criminal record. I'm not worried about criminals I'm worried about mentally unstable white males. I'm not being racist, it's just the facts.

It's not a question of if but when. How many days? One day, two days, a week before the next shooting?

It's going to happen. Keep your eyes open when out in public especially at malls and larger stores. There are at least six families who's holidays were ruined last night. Let's hope we make it through today without another shooting of innocent people just going about their day to day lives. It really sucks when you hope for things like making it through the day without a mass shooting. :(

Stay safe and Happy Holidays.

i would love to feel safe enough to put my pistol back in my desk drawer and leave it there, but i don't see that happening any time soon.
i had recently quit carrying it to the grocery store, walmart, short trips like that, but after this last week, it's back in my waistband every time i leave my property. i guess i have the self control not to pull it in anger, because i've had it on me and been pretty fucking pissed, and didn't. i know how little self control i have, which means it doesn't take much to not be a fucking murderer...which means that they have none at all. it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to devise a psychological test to see who has a reasonable amount of self control. just fucking saying...

He is right. It's called toxic masculinity and it's at the core of the mass murders. That and easy access to guns.

They say it's video games and violent movies and a deterioration of society etc. It's guns, we have the same video games and movies in Canada too and share a common culture and TV living room, we have a fraction of the murders per capita, and most are committed using guns smuggled from America. Less guns, less murder, lots of guns in society are the same thing as spreading land mines around at random and complaining when people get blown up.

Because they desperately want to touch someone else's weiner but can't process those feelings so it manifests into rage.

so would you agree arming yourself would be the best/fastest course of action to protect you and your family in the event a nutcase with a gun tries to harm you? Sure in your perfect scenario there would be no guns or stricter gun laws but - this latest shooting along with the majority of shootings, was carried out with a plane old pistol. 99% positive those will never be banned in the US.

“and almost all republican affiliated”

False. Silly random pointless talking point

how many registered republicans carry out mass shootings? How about NRA members? Hell how many people who actually vote at all carry out mass shootings?

Was this guy a Republican? Does it matter?

The feds can regulate guns, they regulate automatic weapons and calibers already, you can't own an artillery piece or machinegun. So technically they could ban semi-automatic arms, including pistols, cock to shoot only. The 2nd only mentions arms for military purposes and back then that included cannons, rockets, bombs and grenades, as well as guns. So according to the interpretation of some, the feds have no rights concerning arms, it's a state's right. If someone in Texas wants to own and fire a M777 off in their back yard it would be there right! No home defense plan is complete without at least one RPG, body armor is getting good these days! You can see the civilian arms race getting stupider all the time driven by fear. The first thing most do when they get into prison is to sharpen their toothbrush into a shive, see the similarities? It isn't freedom, it's something else.

It is true, the FBI stats bear it out, the vast majority of terrorism and mass shootings are carried out by right leaning lunatics, there are no shortage, judging from the number of death threats they make, which are also terrorist acts. Sure, some regular nuts do mass murdrer, but most of them lean right and many are gravy seal poster boys with an AR15

You can 100% own automatic weapons....and artillery pieces, they are classified as destructive devices.
