So yeh, my plant is about 2 months old. So far, so good. In Veg. state. She looks healthy, got little pistils showing. my only complaint is that about a few weeks after the new leaves form, the tips turn a little white and curl downward. doesnt seem to be effecting the plant overall, i am just a little concerned. any ideas? BTW- have only used organic EVERYTHING. Bloodmeal, potash, etc... and the PH meter says moisture is A-OK and soil is just a touch akaline, but not bad.:wall:

i think i have the same meter as you, dark green with 2 prongs... that tester is pretty difficult to use for ph. what is the PH of the water you feed your plants? If its regular tap, I think you probably have the same problem I have had. Tap water in most places has a high ph, even after evaporating the chlorine(24hour method) the ph of the water is still high. What I like to do is add a few drops of vinegar, my nutes, then retest the ph of the water using a ph test strip of drops(these are mad cheap) and make sure that I am feeding water with a ph around 6 to the plants. If you consistently feed ph balanced water, then the ph of your soil shouldnt be much different

I will work on pics. I use only bottled distilled water. And yes, I do have that shi*ty PH meter. I like the PH testing kits with the colored capsules better. bongsmilie
