Notice how long it took the psychos who run Facebook to react to the Ukraine situation? Countries reacted quicker, but these amoral assholes didn't have a fucking clue about right and wrong. Too little too late Zuck.

MIGA Make the Internet Great Again, get rid of Russia and cut as many cables to the place as you can. There's nothing but viruses, malware, ransomware, hacking, espionage and attacks on our democracies coming from the place. They would not be missed!

The people in the US can be so fucking oblivious. Didn't provide a link because the headline says it all. This from USA today:

Russia takes aim at Kyiv, Biden's next steps, awards shows: 5 things to know this weekend

Feb 26 (Reuters) - Germany has approved the delivery of 400 RPGs from the Netherlands to Ukraine, the defence ministry in Berlin said, confirming a shift in policy after Berlin faced criticism for refusing to send weapons to Kyiv, unlike other Western allies.

I guess all these weapons are getting into Ukraine now via Poland?

the Ukraines want to fight, supporting these may be an option. It's what Putin did for years now with the Separatists. The much I hate proxy-wars but if Russia overruns Kiew, I believe, his intention is to establish a pro-Russia political landscape which will make it very hard for the West to do much of anything to the people of Ukraine. Much alike Belarus situation...

Though it may be much too late for this now

Remember how long people held out in the cities of Syria and Iraq? Urban warfare is a notorious consumer of troops and rubble make great defensive positions. From what I can gather their air defense systems and C&C are intact and being reinforced, they are getting even more arms from NATO including anti tank and AA weapons. In these conflicts much depends on the moral and attitude of those involved and the Ukrainians are willing to die for what they believe. If they are supported, it will make it bloody, expensive and time consuming, there might even be unrest sparked in Russia and Vlad's empire along with crippling sanctions that will drive him to the negotiating table and out of the Ukraine.

Just heard Zelinsky saying captured Russians are saying they don't understand these hostilities, maybe scared but maybe an indicator that Russian hearts are not committed to Vlad's territorial grab, cracks may be appearing. Makes sense,as an analogy would American soldier's have their heart in a invasion of Canada,I'd bet the house that would be a NO,almost same circumstances to my mind.

That’s might be why Russia got so fast Chernobyl . To threaten all of nATo . unless Ukraine gives up he will blow up Chernobyl and cause it to radiate the environment causing harm. But Zelensky will still be alive. He will be radiated but still alive!

I'm done with predictions. I don't understand this enemy.

I just try to look at the implications of what is happening, wars often have unintended consequences, even those that are very well thought out and planned. This must be causing immense unrest and worry in other former Soviet republics for instance and it would be naïve to think that the CIA would not take advantage of this. If the Russian body count goes up and the unpopular war drags on, it will encourage others and discourage the Russians. Along with economic sanctions it could mean Vlad taking a bullet, being poisoned, or changing his course.

I don't do much extrapolating either. I will, when I must and have a good understanding of the subject. In this case, there are too many unknown variables to make a prediction.

But do go on. I already know you well enough to think you will stop when I tell you that you are sounding ridiculous.

Agreed. Can you imagine how you would feel if you were ordered to go occupy Ontario so that we could draw a American line around the Great Lakes?

Putin is using “the nuclear weasel option”. Bottom line, if he blows Chernobyl up, the overall radiation load will be less than Fukushima. No real tactical advantage in exchange for becoming universally labeled a nuclear terrorist. At which point it’ll be more than just NATO sending fire missions.

I tried. I made it to page 8. Reaffirmed my suspicions. The politics threads are like a public bathroom. Gonna hear some shit, be disgusted by humanity, see stuff you didn't want to see. People in there smelling each others crappy opinions.
So I have feelings and thoughts pressure that is building. It demands release. So, this is the place for me to rid myself of this mess.
What will it take to light this up? And I mean WWW stylee. Western Europe gets the balls to attack? Sanctions leading to assassinations with A-232 chemical? A snuke smuggled in from Ukraine?
I am really hoping to make it to the end of the planet supporting us, so I can enjoy my "I told you assholes" moment.
Sometimes in life, you have to use death as a tool. There are only so many thoughts to have. People are sadly redundant. Keep on picking the terrible ones.
I can't say that I feel better. I just have words. Hot air over vocal chords. If you aren't buying a politician or killing one, you just have words too. Just going to wash my hands and go smoke a bowl. Good luck everybody. :peace:

Ukraine has set up a foreign legion where any combat age foreign nationals who want to fight Russians are welcome to sign up. Makes sense to me, Germany have now confirmed they are sending AA weapons, Sweden and Finland are being threatened re joining NATO. Belarus is in the fight as a puppet. Putin won’t like Germany’s move so I expect some horror show in Kyiv as a Putin hissy fit.

I think the reason they captured Chernobyl was to prevent desperate Ukraine citizens from entering the site to retrieve radioactive materials to make dirty bombs, knowing they will die in the process wouldn’t stop them. If the Russians want to go dirty then they just need to leave the 15 nuclear reactors in Ukraine to melt down. This is literally a scorched earth policy resulting in an uninhabitable Ukraine. It’s the sort of move a DT personality would make on the back foot once cornered.

trigger warning, a harsh lesson from animal in pain below.

I saw a possum get hit by a car that took out the use of its rear legs. I didn't hit it, I saw the accident. The car that hit it kept going. I had already stopped and it was in my headlights. The poor thing looked up, eyes flashed at me in the lights and pulled itself by its front two legs across the road to a ditch to hide. The animal's instinct and drive to survive overcame all.

My will to survive won't let me stop trying.
Thanks for ruining my Sunday.

Joining NATO may not be the worse thing in the world.
