There is no such thing as total air defense. Will Israel lose planes...u bet. But they have already practiced this exact mission. They will penetrate, they will drop. What they might drop is open to debate. Whether they will strike is open too.

Israel is small with extremely dense population centers---one bomb would pretty much wipe them out :( and Iran has said many times that Israel should be wiped from the face of the earth. All sides in the Israeli election were pretty much for war with the hardest line party winning :-|

Bush wouldn't let Israel attack when they wanted---because oil was $130ish---now oil is $30ish---I would say they get the go ahead now.

Israel doesn't stand alone, if Iran attacks them, they're going to get their asses kicked by a lot of other countries.

How long will it take Iran to build this nuke? Damn, we're going to end up over there too. Once we've got our entire military distributed around the other side of the world, we're going to be sitting ducks.

Yes, they will have a constructed weapon in about 90 days or less. I figure this one will be TESTED for all to see..... that's a big boost for Mahamoud who is up for re-election in 5 months. The second bomb is the one to worry about...which should be ready by June. Israel may wait for the first test.

We're not talking about two superpowers going at it. And if one goes off...I'm pretty sure it will be delivered anonymously. One of the reasons why Iran is so dangerous is because they are hell bent on this and yes, they are that ignorant. They want what they want......like a 5 year old wants.

Israel will attack Iran's military instillations and Iran will stop oil tankers going through the straight of hormuz---in come our aircraft carriers and subs---shutting Iran's rocket attacks down---Israel/US won't invade them though. We already have them surrounded in Iraq and Afganistan! This has been in the cards for awhile :idea:

Gosh, is this really a good time for Obama to be closing refineries and shorting our domestic supply? Talk about a right hook to the jaw. So many things are lining up against us....the crime is most of them were preventable.

yup! 17.000 new troops ok'd to Afghanistan, not 10% of what is needed...ask the former USSR. speaking of the rooskies, they have out bid us on Kyrgystan (sp? crapholistan?) and we and our only airbase in the region are being evicted.

It just occured to me that I would not mind if one could hear the connotation given to "Christians" by the keyboard, as I have never been "witnessed too" by a "Jew" nor have I ever percieved even the slightest arogance towards me or pitty for my doomed soul because I was not a member of their particular club.
"Christians" on the other hand:spew: o.k. maybe it was something I ate, but how anyone could allign themselves with a group responsible for such attrocities is inconcievable. It would be analagous to there being a local chapter of "Huns" on every other corner and worshiping the mighty Khan
