WTF is "black politics"?

I'm having a great day, not upset at all. I posted because I felt like it. Need I have a better reason?
I don't know if you need any reason. I'm just curious as to why you felt the need to address my question and reply to my comment specifically which wasn't directed at you, but in general to anyone just to say, "I don't know, why don't you Google it?"

So to answer your question, since it was directed to me, I don't know if you need a reason, why don't you Google it.

However, I have been sufficiently answered. Black politics is just rap music.

By all means, continue having a nice day.

In UB's own words.. It's a pot forum.

No sane person actually cares about the political discussions on a pot forum. What's disturbing is folks who only ever post in politics. Its clear they feel they don't have a voice in real life.

Thank you! I actually did google it to see what would come up. I could not discern the answer, seems to be many different ways the term "black politics" can be interpreted. My snippiness was not intended for you personally even though I quoted your post. My bad. I suspect UB was not looking for an actual answer either.

What do you mean by "...wasn't looking for an actual answer either."? You're implying that I wasn't looking for an actual answer? Surely you don't think that suggesting a Google search is an answer?

I think that you're interpreting the question as something that has a positive, factual answer. I interpreted it as a query for opinion from the members of this board.

In any case, I have been answered, black politics is just rap music. I wonder if anyone else has an opinion that I can repeat several times as a subtle way of highlighting its stupidity.

I thought Black Politics was whatever Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton said it was. Lol

People use google searches to answer questions all day long so I'm not suggesting anything other than a tried and true method. Obviously you are free to do as you choose. I agree with you that defining black politics as being just rap music is silly.

Funny thing is I originally looked to the politics section to show me what the media wasn't but then I realized quick there is a core group of racists as well as a nominal amount of trolls to make this section more of a circus than a discussion.

I think there have been more dicks posted in this forum than exist in a big city. The lack of respect for each other is abundant in this whole forum. All it takes is the mods to let one dude be an asshole and then the train comes.

Want an example ? The white man cannot say the N word without being crucified, called a racist and attacked, but blacks not only use it daily and hourly, they include it into their music style.

That`s Black Politics in a nutshell........
so all the cities that our vanguard says were ruined by "black politics" would be all better if white people could openly say "nigger"?

i don't think you quite get it!

you suspect wrong, and my question was not "rhetorical". hence why i cited several members (who i will refer to as our "vanguard") speaking about black politics.

your buddy who you stick up for called one of those members a "class act" by the way.

it's the company you keep!

What's really disturbing are people who get banned from the site for being insufferable douchbags and then make sock puppet accounts in order to continue peddling nonsense where they aren't welcome.

You are better at reading than AC , close,. . but not quite. Double standards will restrict any blending of the two. When Whites can say "nigger" it signals the end of Black anger. They`ll never be angry at the Blacks that sold them, only the Whites that bought them.

The word, "nigger", like the word, "faggot", will ALWAYS be derogatory. You talk as if those words will someday become ineffective and you are utterly wrong. You trying to explain it somehow speaks volumes of your character. You are definitely a person I would never associate with in real life.

The word "nigger" is ineffective in the black community,...Where have you been ? A double standard is a double standard and does not refer to race.

If they can (Published) and I can`t, I guess I`m the bad guy.........

i don't know why skin color is a factor in governance, but many of our forum's foremost vanguard have a lot to say about it.

is @Glaucoma right?

am i imagining this?

is this all "some stupid claim that nobody in their right mind would believe", or is it a prevailing racist notion on this forum that some choose to excuse or even support?

is it "a stupid claim that nobody believes" and "not worth the effort", or should we take an effort to combat this virulent and disgusting racism from our fellow RIU members?
I think the term black politics is a reference to black people earning a place at the political table and then using that seat to promote an agenda that isn't perceived as overwhelmingly in the favor of white people. I don't know if it's meant to be used as a term for any reason other than to scare the average white suburbanites. But to answer the question, "black politics" is a term for legislative agendas that do not appear to favor white people.
