Wrong place?

That's a technique called no-tilling right? Where the space of the medium is big enough for multiple plants.

I transplant from 3x3 pots into 2 gallon pots. I can only put two runt sized teens of similar size together and even then they only do just as good as one plant in one 2 gallon pot if not worse. Thats just from my experience.

You do not want plants to be fighting for lights and nutrients.

Give them their space and they will reward you for it

no hempy is not no til

Sorry not familiar with the terms. Never heard of hempy style until now. Interesting technique that I am going to have to look more into.

What made you choose this style over the rest?

I've always tried usinh separate pots/blocks for each plant and always steered clear of cramming plants because they focus more on stretch than arm growth from my experience.

hempy buckets are filled with a soilless media, then a 2in or so hole is put in the bucket, this allows for a water table, its basically top fed drain to waste and you have to fertigate frequently to refresh the reservoir, its a hybrid of soil and hydro and requires very little effort.

Do you have a thread on your hempy grow?

Would love to follow it so I can learn more

you sir are an example of a hempy master I love that you have multiple per container, did they ever fight each other or just feed out of the water table?

my bet is they were fine =)
Hah, I'll take that compliment! They did fine with 3 plants vegging for 7 weeks. Root balls were seperate after harvest. Going 4 plants this time with a little less veg time. I usually water directly on the plants during veg, and during flower i water the corners only of the tote to keep the water table fresh.

yep its a highly debated topic but in nature many plants share the water table, ive been thinking of modeling your totes for some time now
