Hello. I'm growing a SweetTooth Auto indoors. The plant is about 40 days old since it sprouted from the soil. It's in a 4 gallon pot and I water it about every 5-7 days. I overwatered it at first when it was young but have siezed since then and learned from that. The growing medium is vigoro organic soil. And if you can tell from the picture it has started some flowering on top. I have 3 26watt cfl lights on it. The lights were about 2 inches from the plant during its entire grow. At first I used one light, then two and now three for its size now. If it got much bigger I would add a fourth and fifth but I dont even think it needs the three I have on it right now to be honest. I have been using tap water for watering and letting it sit for 24-48 hours. Unfortunately I don't know the PH but I will be going out soon to get a digital PH tester and making sure that isn't an issue. As for the lighting I have decided to move the CFL's back a few inches to get it to stretch and grow some more, if this is a bad idea say so. Also the temps have ranged from 80-100F with lights on. And with the lights off it can get down to 65F. The light schedule is 19/5 but has been 24/0 up until yesterday. There is a small fan circulating air in there as well. 4x3 indoor setup.
I have some questions. They are:
1. Why did the two leaves at the bottom turn nearly white?
2. Why did one of the leaves slightly shrivel and turn white on one side of the leaf?
3. Is this plant size (about 3-4 inches) a normal size for 40 days old?
4. Should I start adding some nutrients? What kind?
Thanks in the advance to all who read/comment.
Edit: The pictures made the top leaves look very yellow, this is not the case, they are in fact very green.
